Official Sat II Math IC

Did not see a sat II math IC thread (probably because everyone heres so smart their taking IIC).
I thought it was fairly easy, atleast compared to the October Test.
Heres one i remember exactly,
Y varies directly as the sqrt of x. Y = 9 and x = 4. What is the value of Y if x = 11. I skipped it because i didn't see the right answer among the choices (was probably rushing).

direct variation means. /

so its

y/x y/x
9/4 ?/11

simple proportion i think
are u sure it said sqrt?

whats the curve look like on this test?

exorteric: i got 770 and 99 percentile in october, i find that retardedly easy so i was aiming for 800 this time
i got up to question 40 in 40 minutes, leavin 20 minutes for my last 10 questions.
at the end i could only do three questions out of the last ten. i wanna cry ><

i think the answer to the variation one was 9/4^2=.5625 then u had to find the y in y/11^2 that would give the same answer. atleast thats what i did and my answer was a choice. but then again it could be a purposely wrong answer

so it was squared not sqrt, that would explain it, but i was pretty sure it was sqrt.

does anyone know how to the one where it was a trapezoid on a graph and you had to find the area?

i thought the first half was so easy. but then it got harder. i left around 7 near the end blank.

it was sooooo much easier than the sparknotes practice tests

i think the trapezoid one was something like "8" though i could be thinking of something else

anyone remeber the question with the two triangles that were actually part of a larger 6 8 10 triangle and you had to find the area? I think you subtracted 8 (the area of the rectangle from the larger triangle, which was 24 and would have been left with 16? Was I right? Any input?

anyone? if you guys remember any other qs and as please post!!

I remember there was one with a quadrilateral on a graph (asked for area), but dont remember the numbers.
There was one were the answers were all V shaped graphs of functions (also dont remember numbers).
The last one was a flag pole and two triangles (height of pole), and they gave you an angle and side (trig). Didnt get to finish it though (time).
There was a function one: if f(x) = ?? then what is g(x) if f(g(x)) = ??. The answer was 2x + 1.
There was also one that went something like (?)x^4 + (?)x^3 + kx^2 + (?)x what is the value of k?
My memory is shotty.
Hope this can spark some memories :).
