I went with foreign born. The map was darkest in California (Asian migrants,) the Southwest (Hispanic settlers,) the New York area, Midwest (significant German/Scandinavian pops.) and what looked to me like MA.

And the one about what profession was looked down upon the most for women in the 19th century? Textile worker, correct?

@Esat936 I thought it was political leaders, because I thought that women worjed in factories in the late 19th century. The other answer choices were all correct.

I don’t think people at the time liked women working in the factory, but owners used them for cheap labor.

There were plenty of women in politics, especially if you consider the abolition and feminist movements.

However, I believe the question was which profession was looked down upon the most for a woman to have. As you said, women did sometimes work in factories for cheaper wages, and this would have been considered by many a form of stealing a man’s living. I’m not exactly sure how female “politicians” were viewed.

I also leaned politicians but I must admit that I’m fairly ignorant in that subject area. I reasoned that that during that time there were women working in factories, especially migrants or immigrants.

Wow, I did not do well. On either test, really. I honestly thought I did much better.

I’m officially not submitting any subject tests, which may very well be my nail in the coffin for my schools.

well me too I think I should retake it

750, I’m shocked. I was scoring 800s easy on the days before. It’s still a great score but still, a bit dissapointed.

Actually thought I did better but I’m beyond thrilled w/ my score.

Even more excited about Lit. Somehow got a 730
