Official SAT Math IIc October Discussion

aquamarinee-how did you do on the may one?

I got a 750 on that one. FAILED it. This time, I probably did TEN TIMES better! xD

It was probably 3.17 since I don't remember ever seeing the 3.51 or whatever...

oh...i was hesitant between D and E, and I chose D cause the past two answers in a row before that one, I also got E...

oh well

I thought the june test was easier than this but i only got a 740 on it (didnt have a ti-89...thats my excuse)

oO...my target score is a 750 -___-"" guess i "FAILED it"??

any other tricky qtions? i cant remember any more!

same here yousonofatree. that's all im hoping for.

June was even easier? Dannng. Why didn't I take it in June? :( How many did you miss and skip (estimate)?

My college counselor wanted me to take it over. Hahahaha...

i almost have no idea how i did now.
im hoping for a 750.

The TI-89 is currently my best friend. It TOTALLY helped on all the questions [almost] for this test. I have no idea what I would score if I didn't have it.

i did so badly on the june test (REALLY BAD) and i thought this one was ten times easier.. lol i guess im just weird

i remember skipping 4 in june and i thought i only missed 4 but apparently i missed more seeing my score.

Yeah, I thought this month's was so easy compared to the other month's. I guess we can't expect a very nice curve...

Well, that means you missed an additional 3 or so?

skip 4 and miss 4=
-4 -5 pts = 780.

So for the heartbeat is it 60 or 120? Anyone

And does nayone remember the answer to the other period. It asked which one did not have the same period as the original equation.

to sky2345:

i think the answer was sin(2x+1)

44/50 is an 800 I think, right?

i think the answer was cos(4x + something), sin x and cos x both have the same period of 2pi

60 I think...

What was the original equation for the other period question?

Are you sure? That is what I put...but I was for sure it was wrong, can you explain your reasoning.
