f(x) < g(x) that's right whoever said it

yeah I got 120 for that heartbeat one...though I have a feeling it's wrong because it seemed so simple.

really, can anyone confirm the 120 + sin(2pi t)

Yeah, I got f(x)<g(x) for f-g

Wasn't question 46 or 47 the one where you had to use the Cosine rule to find the angle? That was pretty simple and straightforward as well...

Someone confirm for circles vs. 4 points and 1/f(x) graph
What did the 1/f(x) graph look like? Where did it cross the y axis?

the original graph crossed y axis at (0,2) and the answer was the inverse, so it crossed the graph at (2,0).. i think it was choice D

the 1/f(x) graph was reflected across the y=x line. Therefore, it looked like a mirror of the original graph over that line...

yeah there was one that required using the law of cosines....I don't remember the answer though...

1/f(x) was choice A, I actually substituted the original points on the graph of f(x) to double-check my answer...only choice 'A' seemed to fit

the one with the colony that started with 5 things and doubled every 23 minutes and asked how many were there after 2.3 hours
was the answer 15625?

I omitted 8 and got 2-3 wrong. Would I still be able to get a 700 or above?

for the colony doubling thing... i think i got 300 something?

I don't remember what I put anymore xD Oh, well... I'll just count that I missed one then... Argh.

yeah it was 300 something!

I think I got 15625... 300 is too low. It doubles every 23 minutes for 2.3 hours.

well since 2.3 hours is 138 minutes...that means it only doubles 6 times...?

I'm pretty sure it was 320

I wrote it out

The colony one was 5 * 2^6 = 320

(2^6: 2 because it doubles, hence times 2; 6 because there's 6 sets of 23 minutes in 2.3 hours)

I also got 320 and I did it by hand so I'm pretty sure it's correct.

the answer for doubleing is 300

what about the question about rosa's percentiles ( didnt read teh middle pages of the thread)

i put there was no way to determine becuase her score could have been 1,2,3,4,6,7,8. If her score was 1 2 3 or 4 then her score is not between two guy boys but if her score is 6 7 8 then she is between.
