It better stay that way. )

This test was so easy, but I was in tears because I wasted time on 40-55 and could not check 1-40 as closely as I liked.

Probability problem,
0.6 prob of occurence for event A
0.4 prob of occurence for event B
Compute the prob of either event:
Prob of occurence of A x Prob of non-occurence of B
Prob of occurence of B x Prob of non-occurence of A
Prob of occurence of A x Prob of occurence of B
0.6 x 0.6 + 0.4 x 0.4 + 0.6 x 0.4
= 0.76 D

Bowl
pi x r^2 + 10 x pi x r + (4 x pi x r^2)/2 = NOT E, I dont remember the choice.

Absolute Equality thing,
No solutions according to TI-89

as for (1/2,-rad(3)/2) I put (1, 5pi/3) (TI-89....)

Coefficient of x^2 for stupid polynomial

4 x 5.64 = 22.56

Triangle problem, with 3 sides given s=50.7 degs

All I remember...and from calculator memory.

live-, if you solve my equation, it comes out to your answer : )

Do you know if the curve is very different for this test since it was so easy?

can someone please check my work/ans, I am sooo jittery.

barum87, I know, thats why I said "^+1", meaning I'm adding my vote to your answer :).

nycyuppie3, I think you forgot to multiply the height to the second part.
I got no solution for absolute value equality, too.

yeah, that was a typo. My apologies. But was it was not E, right?

live-, oh! Forgive me for my noobieness (o_O)

It better not be much different goldfish, I omitted 3 and got 1 wrong from what I see here...but I'm also worried that some of my erased answers (on 2 problems I think) will show up as wrong (its hard to erase perfectly).

On the one where it said
2a=3b=5c=d with different letters, I put D, not E, which I think was wrong...somehow I got D as being equal to 20 when I plugged in 30 as the variable d, but I think it should have only been 10 (6*10/6 was it?)...I know the last one was equal to 15 when the last number equaled 30.

I don't think it was E, but to be honest, I really don't remember the answer choices. I think my answer was something like 332 (which is also from a flash back from reading this thread)

I got that

nycuppie, the choice was C on that, 332 point something.

Yeah, D equaled to 10, and 15 for E.
(i'm dumb, and I calculated all those things in terms of S, and then at the end i realized i could plug in, which I did just to make sure)

live the answer to the one you are talking about is E. rs/10=60=largest value

I must have been out of it, I think I must have accidentally written 6*10/3 on my paper, because I clearly remember subbing in for E and thinking that 20 is greater than 15, lol.

Pyramid was 92.

I omitted 4, and got about 8 wrong..... (no proven wrongs, just a hunch)

I am paranoid about the polar eq question. Wacth me turn out wrong.

As for the triangles ques, anyone get anything diff?

Curve Predictions:
800 790 700 580 560 530

JK.....
800 800 800 800 800 800/790 790/770

For the imaginary root one, was the graph the one where the curve didn't touch the x-axis?

Yeah, I think it was E...it was inverted.
