Hi all!
9 more days to go now. Post expected score ranges until the 28th maybe? Goodluck!

I personally found Math harder than any of the other sections. Hopefully my scores in CR and Writing help bring up my composite score ._.
How did you guys do?
I’m expecting something like:
Math: 600 - 680
CR: 680 - 760
Writing: 690 - 780
Composite: 1970- 2220 (Crazy range, I know. Proves how scared I am and how unpredictable the test seems to be.)
No idea what the outcome will be though. The SAT curves are lenient (hopefully).
Argh I’m so scared. Anyone planning to do the early score reporting thing?

The test was medium but the curves, according to the December 2013’s thread, are going to be disastrous lol

I’m expecting
CR: 660-690 (blame it on the CURVE!)
Math: 740 (hopefully I didnt make any other stupid mistake)
W: 800 (doesnt even matter lol)

Only 9 days?!? No I’m soooo not ready for this!

I expect to score highest in the writing portion, then CR, and finally math. Kind of like the first time I took it. Now, I need to break through to the 2000s but I doubt that’ll happen since I pulled an all-nighter for the test (didn’t study/was just jet-lagged).
Oh well.

@Phongtheha I knoww, I’m terrified because I did bad on Math. I’m hoping for atleast a 600 in Math. >.<
Lol well, writing does matter a tiny bit maybe? I dont even know anymore.
haha, not even 9 days now. 2 more days to go!

@Marazan Same here! My first time, I scored higher in Math though. I want to break 2050s but I’m terrified now. I dont know what to expect… Ah jet lag sucks and so do all nighters. Hopefully we break 2000s

2 more days to go guys!

@AditiAryal Ahh, I feel like this could either go really well or really badly…Fingers crossed!

@Marazan I know right? Fingers crossed!

Guys, 23 hours and 55 minutes to go! (following the “scores are out at 8AM EST” routine. If 5AM EST, then even lesser time remaining until we know our scores! EEK!)

This is my first time taking the SAT and it seems that I’m out of luck since my first test is a test with a mercyless curve
I expect:
Math : 620
Critical Reading 640
Writing: 630
Overall : 1890… Hopefully better

@wassgha Mind telling me what grade you’re in? You still have a second chance though right?
I took my first SAT on January and unfortunately, I wasn’t serious about it. I knew for a fact I’d give it later so didnt care about it at all. Scored around 1800 though. But I regret not preparing back then. I didn’t bother to check when scores would come out or what time, had no idea about the curves (not in depth anyway) and all that.
This time was alot more serious for me. Hopefully things work out well.

@AditiAryal I’m taking subject tests in november so my last chance will be in december. I really don’t want my application to be that late and I don’t want to be sending scores blindly without knowing my chances according to the score… My GPA in the Tunisian system is 16.06 out of 20 which translates to 3.2/4

@wassgha I see, I’m taking subject tests in December (no other date available but good thing is I’m planning to apply mainly to the schools that dont require SAT 2) I know what you mean. Which is why I’m really hoping my Scores come out good because this is my last chance for SAT. I’m in the 12th grade (doing the IB) so out of 42, my midterm score was a 37. I got a predicted 38. (Second in class out of 47 students). ._. without sat scores, I have no idea where I stand.
I meant what class are you in. Like are you a senior or junior, sophomore, etc? :)

@AditiAryal Yeah I’m a senior unfortunately… Didn’t know about the SAT/TOEFL/CommonApp stuff till july, I hope I had known about it before so that I would have had enough time to prepare. That said, I somehow managed to score 112 out of 120 on the TOEFL haha

@wassgha Oh I see. Same here, but luckily I don’t need to give the TOEFL and all that. Just the SAT for me (:
Thats a good score! Congratulations I’m actually waiting on my SAT score to finalize my college list. If hopefully my scores come out good then I’ll definitely apply to some good LACs otherwise I’ll still apply but with my IB grade. Lets see how things go. I honestly can’t wait to know my score. I’m stressed out but I can’t deal with all this waiting.
Unfortunately I’ll be at school when scores come out…

@AditiAryal haha me too, I’ll be connected with my phone in the math class to get the score even though I’m gonna take a math test on wednesday :stuckouttongueclosedeyes:

@wassgha haha, I’m so scared though! So I’ve decided to just check my scores once I get home, with my twin and my mom Gotta wait but hopefully, the wait will be worth it >.<

I’m currently plagued with doubts that the score will disappoint me again…

@Phongtheha What are your old scores, expectations?

@phongtheha Is this your 2nd time?
Well to be honest, for me, I shouldnt even have had any expectations for my first SAT. I didn’t do anything at all for it. Wasn’t bothered about it. But this time, I’m actually really concerned. And from performance, I think although Math went bad, CR and Writing should have gone good. Depends on the curves too. I really hope I break the 2000’s and don’t get stuck in 19somethings. I’d be glad with a 2 in the beginning of my SAT score in total. ._. Freaking out here.
22 hrs and 18 mins more.

I actually think results get out at 5 am
