There are a lot of terrible answers and even worse answer explanations especially in the writing section. I’m so frustrated becuase there’s absolutely no way Collegeboard’s chosen answers are even close to correct. It seems to me that Collegeboard just makes up answers and comes up with a horrible answer explanation to make the whole question seem quite ridiculous.
Having seen pretty much every practice test, I can confirm that to my knowledge there is one incorrect answer choice provided in all the tests so far.
CB has even cancelled 2 questions in the PSAT last fall in the scoring. I am not surprised at all if you have another mistake in a practice test.
@Lindagaf @billcsho So how would that affect the scoring of the test according to the SAT score conversion tables? ?

No idea. No doubt College Board has been alerted to mistakes. And I should clarify, I don’t teach math so for all I know there could be a mistake there. I imagine any ones that are incorrect on College Board’s end, (unless no correct answer choice was given, which is very unlikely,) I imagine they will simply change their answer to the right one and grade accordingly.
They just skipped that 2 questions in scoring. That has happened in certain previous SAT exam too. They would just have a different scoring table. Indeed, each test has a different scoring table anyway.
@Lindagaf , where was the error you found? (Which question from which practice test?). Thanks.
@SoccerMomGenie , I can’t recall, sorry. I have it marked on the test, but I would have to go through eveything to find it. I want to say it was on practice test 6, and I think it was an error in the W &L section.
