Hey.. No answers until the official Embargo time...

i'm not taking this test until spring...to clear something up: can you or can't you use calculators, if yes, what type?

you cant, and you dont need to

i heart calcs

What'd everyone think of our lovely Chemistry Test this morning?

it was much easier than oct.

i thought it was quite easy... i was expecting something MUCH more difficult.

i guess im the only one who thought it was really tough

how many TTCE did u guys hav??
can anyone think of any hard questions (for some reason i cant remember the questions)

fximpeccable: I had like 4 in a row. I think they were in the second column? Also what did you guys put for what is not necessary when titrating. I put bunsen burner. However, I wasnt sure if it could also be the weight balance?

i put bunsen burner as well

i think i might have had like 3 in a row (hope we are talking bout the same questions, otherwise either one was r screwwed!)

i remember putting down 3 TF in a row in the first column and 3 TTCE in a row in the second column.

i kinda think thats wat i put too...
i had like 3 TFs and 3 TTCEs in a row
i think i also had like one or two TT

what else...question 4 is paper chromatography,NaCl question is II and III only, proton plus CaCO3 is I and III only

overall the thing was pretty easy, got every question in 40 mins...

Stop bragging. I thought I did horribly.

in the TF/CE section
wat was the answer for HCO- is both Bronsted Acid and Base because it can both donate and accept proton

TT CE thats what I put

dats wat i put...i totally guessed on that one
hope thats the answer

Yeah, that is the correct answer because HCO3^- can become either H2CO3 acting as a base and receiving one proton (H+), or CO3^2- acting as an acid and doning one proton (H+)

Yeah 3 TTCEs in a row! on the second column!
