Official SAT Subject Test - Chemistry - June 2015

that is what I chose in the end.

There was an unbalanced reaction problem (I think it was #52 or #53 or something). It asked for how many moles of oxygen gas (I think?) would be produced if 1 mole of reactant reacted to completion. Anyone remember the answer to this one?

@lm4992 I think it was 8? Or was it 1/3? I remember getting those values for the balancing equations questions, but I don’t remember which question was which.

what do you think a raw score of 77 would be?

@lm4992 I think it was 6?

Oops sorry I meant 79+

I believe it was 6!!^

Why can’t solid C turning into CO2 be sublimation since solid is turning into gas??

C and CO2 are different substances altogether, so it is not just a phase change

that is solid carbon dioxide though that sublimates

What was the volume of gas in the last question?

1.6 I think @blandscreenname

Yeah I got one right for once.

I got 1.6 but I also got 8 for one of them. I am pretty sure it was 8. I also got sublimation for one question on the first part.

so did I, in the balancing equations with oxygen

Does anyone remember specifically what the carbon to carbon dioxide question stated? How can the answer be oxidation if redox reactions happen together?

There was a question about which equations were redox. Do you know if it was all 3 or just 2?

@ssapbio Just I and II for that one

@Marshmallow the question was something like: What process is involved in changing C to CO2? with answer choices: oxidation, reduction, sublimation, neutralization, condensation

does anyone remember the balanced equation between aluminum and hydrogen?
