Official SAT Subject Test - World History - June 2015

I figured there should be a thread up for anybody else taking this test.

Same. The multiple choice is way more general on the AP though.

How are you guys prepping for the subject test? I just plan on taking three practice tests, and reviewing some key terms.

I found some max pdf and I ordered the sat us and world history book

Does anybody know of any online practice tests available?

gg boys I took a practice test and scored around mid 700s

Bump

Bruh. Stressing out rn

@realtwinkie There are practice tests on learningpod.com  I took the AP test so I am hoping this will be a little easier than the AP test because I heard from other people that the SAT Subject Tests are a little easier than the AP Tests MC

@Calchong yea I finally got a practice test from the sat world history and us history book and got a 770. The curve seems really generous

yo, I took the CB test with NO prep and got a 720 (-25). I then analyzed my mistakes and studied from Barrons, and I only got a 710 this time (-26). What the hell do I do?

how do you guys score it? I cant seem to find how i can convert the raw score to into the 800 scale

@whostolemycookie If you have the official SAT study guide, you can find the curve there. But if you don’t, you can find a scoring chart online after a bit of digging.

Just fyi, bare minimum for an 800 is 78 raw / 95 raw (though it could be higher or lower depending on this test’s difficulty). Basically, you can miss up to ~14 and still get an 800. Which is still pretty damn hard to do :I

Also, it seems that I made an error in scoring and I actually missed 25, omitted 1. Still awful tho lol

Barron’s scoring is probably harder than college board. I got a 720 on some Max prep book and a 770 on the college board book

I used the collegeboard scale for my Barron’s test. Lol.

Honestly I’ve been cramming for this test for hours a day for this past week but I don’t see myself cracking an 800. I’ll be lucky if I get 750, but I’ll keep shooting for that full score.

Also, for those of you thinking that it’ll be easier than the AP world exam, it won’t. The questions are much more specific and detail-oriented.

The college board tests and actual sat is easier than Barron’s though and the curve is very generous

I mean yeah but compared to the AP World History exam, it’s relatively difficult

Yea the AP was much easier
