OFFICIAL SAT1 Thread

I can't recall maybe someone can recall for me. It was a double passage about the guy who went hiking.

Alex, I had a passage about jewelry, AND 2 QCs

the hiking one was 13 questions...wasnt it?

There as no GPA qeuestions...

I had one QC section and it had the one with the line segment.

Wasnt there on with the median of test scores? Maybe thats what he meant by a GPA question...

was the test hard or easy for the most part?

No, there was definitely a question that was something like the average GPA at wherever is 2.6. What's the highest possible number of students that could have a 1.0 or something like that. It was a grid-in.

Well I didn't have that one.

no gpa questions here but I did have the average scores. The hiking passage was 13 passages thank you to whoever jogged my memory.

Well Dunkaroo, let's hope you didn't find the average. It was median.

yeah no gpa question here I definetely would have remembered that one

section 1: math - 30 minute multiple choice
section 2: verbal - short reading passages
section 3: math - 30 minute multiple choice
section 4: math - quant comp/grid in
section 5: verbal - 30 minute normal
section 6: math - 10 questions
section 7: verbal - 12 questions

uc_benz, both of my sections had questions with line segments. Did yours have to do with AP being twice the length of PB? Or was it something like x is 1/6 of the distance between A and B and y is 1/3 the distance between x and B? Because it would make more sense if you had the second one.

yes sorry it was median and I did find the median

It was the one that had 1/3 and 1/6. By the way, what did you all get on that?

It was 14, I do believe.

for the analogy:

resolute: pigheaded
was it
A)accomadating: fawning or
D)longwinded: bored.

I chose D then changed to A. since the bridge is "somone who is pigheaded is extremely resolute" doesn't really make sense for "someone who is bored is extremely longwinded".

mijehar

did the verbal have short reading passage about monkeys across a river?

I had the second one of those line segment questions
