OFFICIAL SAT1 Thread

Okay, since it seems that NO ONE has that GPA question, that must have been my experimental section.

My format was:
1: Math
2: Verbal - passage about astronomy
3: QC
4: QC (experimental?)
5: Verbal - passage about jewery and short ones, I believe (monkeys and soemthing else)
6: 15 min verbal (hiking)
7: Math

I remember that analogy from one of last year's SAT...

Reticent was one of the SCs, I remember that.

what i remember
-the last QC line seqment was A.
-maxim: verbosity
-prism question about point P and the segment in the interior last one was 2 (A)
-last math question median was 14
-3 rule math question with if x = 1 then y = 2 was 0 (A)

what did u put for the sew:thread analogy. I believe that was in the experimental section if anyone else had it

uc_benz, do you mean what did we get as the median, or what did we get on the line segment? I got 14 as the median and... 4/9 (?) as the line segment thing.

according to takeheart's test and mine, exper was NOT short passage one

was the car question 80 for that grid in with the green doors

God, I hated the sew:thread analogy. I think I ended up putting knit:yarn...

Burning:Ash:: Anyone remember?

I put 80 for the car one too.

It was DEFINITELY knit:yarn

Yeah I got 4/9 for the line segment one. What about the one where it had two parallel lines, and two other lines that intersected to form an angle of 86 degrees. It had an angle labeled as 133 degrees and asked what x was?

here were my grid in answers

34, 7, 5, 2400, 21.1
52.5, 101, 141, 80, 5/18

and crap i got that last one wrong, that blows i forgot to add the 1/6 to it, damn

Wasnt it 141 degrees?

Alex, I got 28. a max of fifty cars could have been green, 70% of those could have had alloy wheels, and 40% of those could have been two door. Or something like that. I don't exactly remember the percentages.

Dominus, I agree
Even though it was the first analogy it was hard, i put what you got? not sure though
for burning ash, I put lumbering is to saw dust or something like that. not sure.

What was the answer to:

x^2 = 1
If x is 1 then y is 2
If y is 2 then z is 3.

What is x when z is 1?

I put -1

I did as well. I figured sawdust was the end resulting remnants of lumbering, as ash is to burning...I originally had contest:winner, but changed it.

I got knit: yarn as well.

yeah, i think that I got 141 degrees.

slipstream, i put 0.

EDIT: slipstream, nevermind, i was thinking of a different question.

here u go.. can't remeber most questions, but i tried to think of some..

Math - 25 MC (one with the pendulum to find the angle it makes)
Verbal - 35 Q (3 1-para CR's, didn't even bother attempting)
Verbal - 35 Q (2 seperate passages i think, can't remember anything)
Math - 25 Q QC+G-I (one with that T-shirt packages)
Verbal - 30 Q (doube passage, about American Cattle Industry/History)
Verbal - 13 Q (Normal passage, the one with the phamarcist reffered to as doctor)
Math - 15 Q MC (the x=a+b thing for which the answer was x-1)

gosh, I've forgotten a lot it seems...

Mitigate was one of the SCs, I do believe...

Did anyone get an answer with that one 'O' word I've never heard before, heh...?
