It was like 50 % were red, so the max was reduced to 100. After that, 60% were something not compatible, so you want to take the least off 100 so just assume the other 100 had the non compatible feature which would mean the max would reduce to 80. Then 70% had a compatible feature, so 80 would stay 80. speedemon I think had that.

slip, it was 0. it said x^2=1 so it could be +/- 1 and it definitely wasn't +1 because it would have made z=3. With the car one, it said that 50% of cars were red, 60% of them were four-door, and 70% had alloy rims. So that means 50% could be green, 40% could also have two-doors, and 70% could have alloy rims.

takeheart,

100 cars could be green.
120 had 4 doors.
140 could have alloy wheels.

So, if all the cars that aren't red are green, that gives us 100. 80 could be not 4 doors. 60 had different wheels. So, if all the green cars are two doors and have alloy wheels, then the answer is 80.

yes mitigate was a sc. what did you guys put for the gold and diamonds SC? that was a bit akward

i got 141 degrees..and for u people that didnt have 2 QC..i didnt have the verbal with the passage about cattle/history..so thats experimental for you guys

uc_benz, 0^2 does NOT equal 1. X has to be either one or negative one, like you said.

did anyone get the sentence completion: in the 1890s, <person's name="">'s "new" method was so _______ that it influenced to maintain the _________ surgical environment. (or something like that).
I put down successful and sterile...but i was also thinking it could be "premature" and "rigid"...cos why would they put the quotation mark around "new"? But then i put down successful and sterile because how could an environment be "rigid"? Anyways..just wondering if anyone else had that and what u guys got. </person's>

Thanx

i completely messed that 3 part question up

What were the grid ins with 5, 7, and 21.1?

what was 21.1..i dont remember that answer ...cncm that was your experimental section

Where did I have 0^2=1? X CANNOT be +1, do you agree? because it would make z=3. So it HAS to be -1. If x=-1 and z=1, the sum is 0.

EDIT: I don't remember what 21.1 was either?

ARG, i read that stupid car question wrong.

this was a strange test for sure

the X^2=1

was definitely 0 (A)

x could only equal 1 or -1, and 1 was not possible so it had to be -1.
Then y is one up and z is one up from y, so x=-1, y=0 and z=1
x+z=?
-1+1=0

fckkk i messed up the car grid-in

Oh! I'm a retard. Yes, the sum is 0! I put that. I forgot for a second that it asked for the sum...

21.1 was the question with the triangle. they gave 2 sides (2 and 21) and asked for a possible value of the third side.

Could that one have been 22?

I had

Math - 25 MC
verbal - with 3 or 4 10 line passages
math - 25 MC
math - QC and Grid in
Verbal - 30 MC
Math - 10 MC
Verbal - 13 MC

During the test I thought the second section was experimental, and decided to take it easy. Fortunately, I decided to do it just in case, and it paid off.

The experimental was the second math section with 25 MC because the last question was

"If, you study for this test, you will do good"
What conclusions can be drawn?
A: If you do not do good, you didnt study for the test

It was also a bit harder then the first 25 MC. Since there are no logic questions on the SAT, this had to be the experimental section.

What did you guys get for the:
1. Mollify::pacify
2. How many lines can be drawn in the 7 face figure so that they have points on the inside. I got 2.

If X is 1/6 of the way from A to B and Y is 1/3 of the way from X to B, i dont remember the rest

I got 4/9

for the triangle one, i just put the third side as 21, an isos. triangle and they never said the sides were all different, requires alot less thinking.
