<p>For the 50s one, i put the one about jumping on a trampoline to improve their figure. In retrospect, thats probably the wrong answer, but i figured that the 50s were really conservative so a woman's figure wouldn't really be that important. </p>
<p>For the 1850s picture with all of the women, i put something about the increasing size of middle class families cause there were 5 of them. I didn't think it was the cult of domesticity because there was nothing in the picture that really indicated that...Oh well, i probably got that one wrong as well.</p>
<p>Who painted the campbell soup thing? I put jackson pollock, cause he was the only name i recognized as an artist during the 50s...But i thought he was a really liberal splatter painter? haha...</p>

<p>I don't even know who warhol is... I've never heard of any of those guys except pollock. I don't get it. I got a 5 on the AP exam without breaking a sweat, but I can't ever seen to break 750 on these god damn tests.</p>
<p>Yea the AP test is much more contained and focuses solely on the U.S. It don't remember it having anything art related, and the UN definetely didnt appear on the AP test. Anyway, I think I screwed up badly on this test, and am very much considering signing up for the December as a retake. BTW, I'm pretty sure quakers support abolition, but they don't enfore celibacy. So I put the answer with celibacy for that one. Then after the test I went to a Krispy Kreme drive through and got a dozen glazed donuts and coffee. Twas sweet. Victory.</p>

<p>And was it just me, or were there a lot of literature/art related questions? (Cubism at the Armory Show, Hawthorne's Puritan books, Horatio Alger, Andy Warhol, Hudson River School, etc.) Maybe it's to be expected, but I didn't really prep and I was pretty surprised how much there was about stuff that doesn't seem that historical.</p>
