OFFICIAL Saturday, October 15 PSAT Thread

Also, for the myths and pioneer tales (Critical reading section-short passage) what did you say the lines about "weeding the soil out" or something like that. I put tenacious and something else

hey lets say if you ommited like 3 and got like 2 or 3 wrong what do you think would me my math score??????

phd89, probably around 65-70. sorry, rough estimate.

Ok Sec 1
what was the main point of both passages (first question on the long reading passage)
What did "vital" mean in line 57

Sec 3
What would passage two say about passage 1's view of the dinosaur?
What did the word "burden" mean in the passage about Arabic numerals?

For "vital" i put irreplacable. I'm not sure if that's right.

And burden I said something about counting the amount of bars... but i dunno

burden= mathematical operation recall since IV = 5 - 1=4 ?

and for the vital thing, i put fundamental

These are the only ones I think I know I got wrong on the test:

Sentence Completions
1. archaic
2. I skipped the last one in CR#1
3.compunction

Writing
1. There was 1 that was like music being popular throughout the centuries and I put E though people have said the answer was D.

Can anyone confirm these being wrong???
Also, did anyone only get 1 NO ERROR in Writing.

burden i think was havin do do simple math calculations.
vital meant important.

damn, i was about to change it right when the proctor said stop

I only got 1 no error, the grizzly bear one.

The gurl next door, what was the compunction question?

I don't think the burden was the mathematical operation. It was something else...

i got 2 no errors

hey anyone struggled with the very first question (section 1)?
I don't even remember it but man, I spend like 3 minutes on it.

What was the 2nd no error?

I don't remember dude...I narrowed it down between compunction and requisition.

are all of you taking this sophs or juniors?? just wondering lol.

oh, the answer for that question was pretext (if that's the same problem?)

I agree with foolonthehill.

THe No Errors were the grizzly bear one and the Eighteenth Century music one(but I think this is wrong). Also, did you guys get C or identify the error to be "was" in the question that talked about some girl electing neither primary candiates?
