<p>Hey congrats jackiec, but honestly guys, what good is this list if we can't get the stats of the accepted/deferred/rejected people to help give us an idea of what type of people got in? Anyways, jackiec, if you could PLLZ tell us your stats and whether or not your admissions decision was in priority mail, first-class, etc.</p>

<p>jackiec, thats awsome!! do you live in Palo Alto or the neighboring suburbs too? how did the envelope look? what was written on the outside? was their a givaway like "congrats" or "yes" or something?</p>

<p>hahaha, I would definitely crack up if the acceptance packages said "Yes!" on it...I just can't see stanford doing that, but I heard the packets said "Congratulations" on them last year...a bit more professional :p</p>

<p>i got the letter this morning. it was this huge fat white envelope with a big Congratulations! on the front...a pretty big giveaway. oh I live in San Francisco...so that's probably why I got it so quickly. erm..my stats...</p>

At Princeton the letters used to say, "YES!"---but they've switched back to "congratulations". I sort of thought Dean Hargadon's "YES!" ones were funny.</p>

Deferred and rejections are the punky little depressing standard business envelopes.</p>

tastyb33f-don't worry. the smartest kid i know was deferred, waitlisted, then finally taken off the waitlist. so do't give up. and you know you were in the top 50% of the applicant pool. Thats awsome!</p>

<p>haha well basically my family and i have been running around the house all morning. in both sides of my families, i'm the first child to be born in the U.S. and therefore the first one to go to a non-community college...so it's a way bigger deal than anyone can imagine. i believe we're going to go out for dinner tonight. plus my dad gave me his new digital camera plus they also sent a stanford logo decal and i put it on the rear window of my car....which i'm pretty sure i'll be getting insurance for very soon now. if you see a silver scion tc with a Stanford decal on the back driving around S.F....holler!</p>
