Official SCEA Decisions

do you guys think that means that we won't know the results until they are actually released, or that we won't know the official release date for a week or two more?

Goodness!
I think it's an unspoken rule of nature that librarians have to be mean and grouchy.

Of course. I'm sure there are nice ones, but they definitely don't work at my school.

so we find out our decisions through an e-mail they send us? I thought we had to log into a site to find out if we were accepted.

yea i think we log into the site to find out...i doubt its by email...

and fringey, being pitied is the worst. urgh im not looking forward to repeating 'i got deferred' to a billion people come mid-december...=(

I would actually be pleased to get deferred... no joke. By CC means, I am no superstar and if I get deferred I won't mind telling people.

If I get rejected... I don't know WHAT I'll do! Being deferred would still be kinda annoying haha

Same here, I won't mind telling my counselor, my parents, and my friends that I got deferred; there's no shame in it, as I mean, at least I didn't get rejected (which would have hurt me worse).

bottom line- I JUST WANNA KNOW!

Yeah I think I'm just going to crawl into a hidey-hole and be upset if I get flat-out rejected. I can live with being strung along, but not with being unwanted entirely.

lol a hidey-hole?
if we both get rejected, lets meet up and discuss our sorrows and cry a dietcoke and fringey river together, k?

12 hours till my decision is up. Everyone here wish me some BIG TIME luck por favor :D

Isn't anyone afraid they'll get accepted and then have to decide between an Ivy education and $100K in debt or a free ride at a great public?

Be careful what you ask for.....

^My biggest fear EVER.

Sheed30 'n and the rest of the QB lot- best of luck!

haha yepp, gluck!! =)

Actually, I'm not afraid of that at all. The sticker price is intimidating for private schools and Ivies but they often have more resources (a larger endowment) to be able to have very generous packages of financial aid. However, the publics are more strapped on funds (most of the time) and thus usually give less.

when exactly do all you questbridge people find out? good luck!

Ah, the uncertainty is unbearable; more than just the next four years of my life hang in the balance... but also every ripple effect that those years have on the rest of my existence.

Funny how we're stressing over something that we can no longer control... for all we know, we've already been accepted/deferred/rejected, but we just haven't found out yet. Fun.

But, good luck to everyone anyways.

i know, that's so true. well, i haven't even applied to yale yet but i know what you mean. do you know exactly what time decisions come out for you??

Questbridgers are supposed to find out 5 PM PST. :O
