Official SCEA Discussion Thread

I don't know about you guys, but I'm pretty sick of watching everyone compare stats and hooks and "what are my chances" threads. So for everyone applying SCEA, let's just get to know each other. We'll be going through application anxiety soon, and I'd rather go through it as friends than opponents. Anyway, we might be future classmates!!! :)

Ok, i'll start: I'm a white female from NJ obsessed with running and Harry Potter. My newest obsession is whole-wheat bagels. I hate cheese and I don't eat candy. My favorite movie right now is probably Wedding Crashers, though Monty Python and the Holy Grail has been a long-time favorite.

Anyone else? :)

damn damn damn damn i can't wait till RD turn

love Harry Potter and Wedding Crashers :)

P.S. not applying SCEA, RD probabbly

Ah, I love Monty Python and the Holy Grail too. The sound of coconuts....:)

Lets see... I'm an Asian male in WV with a number of uninteresting hobbies (except I'm obsessed with quiz bowl) ...

Hi, everyone! I'm a black female from Vegas and I'm obsessed with Harry Potter as well :) Choir, theatre, and writing suit my fancy...as well as NACHOS - godsent, I tell you. Currently I am saddened because Death Cab is sold out in Los Angeles. And because I haven't started my common app essays yet.

I agree... besides I never really understand the point in "what are my chances" if you're applying EA. After all if you're not adamant about your decision, and capricious enough to change your mind after people on boards tell you, you don't qualify then you really shouldn't apply ED or SCEA.

Me: asian female-love hp, ice cream, sleeping, just hanging out with friends.

(Just a thought but within a week or two this is probably going to reflect our anxious nerves...and sound less fluffy and carefree...)

haha yeah, you're probably right...

So it looks like we have to start a Harry Potter Club as soon as we get to Harvard. :D
