<p>I got rejected too. I did not get an email though. I just used the link from the Academic Decision page, filled in the blanks and up popped my reject letter. I wasn’t very surprised. Just like the reject letter I will probably get from SC.</p>

<p>Oh, sorry, I was just calculating the yield from the numbers in the email. It’s not the acceptance rate…although the increased number of applications would probably push the actual acceptance rate down from last year’s. I wasn’t trying to mislead anyone, it was just a bad choice of words.</p>
<p>No, the OOS rate isn’t quite that low. The UCLA OOS admit rate for Fall 2009 was 19.8%, with a yield of 20.9%, while the overall admit rate was 21.9% with a yield of 36.7%. The application total referenced above includes transfer applications. <p>My status changed today! I just checked and it says “your application has been forwarded for committee review.” I’m not entirely sure what this means, but at least something’s happening!</p>

<p>Can anyone clarify for me where you are seeing the status change link? I am going to the USC Undergraduate Admission site and clicking on the “Already Started Application” link that shows Main Menu, Application, Part II, Update Profile and Application Status. I can not click on Application Status. About 3-4 weeks ago, I emailed the Admission (general) and asked about it and they told me that everything was received blah, blah, blah…Is there another place that I should be looking at to find out whether my app “has been forwarded for committee review.” Thxs</p>

<p>Yes, that is my impression too. Looking back at the old thread the majority of SCA applicants hear last.</p>

<p>OK, So I hate Steve Jobs today…I finally went to my PC from my Mac to get to the links that you’ll have been talking about! And, I had to go via Internet Explorer vs Firefox… Finally got somewhere. Still in limbo (Didn’t the Catholic Church get rid of limbo?)!. The “Doc page” does list everything they have on me but then it has this “Library” link with a list of docs that can be sent.???<br>
I am NOT impressed with the general admissions website(s) that they are using.</p>
<p>“Your application is being reviewed by the admission committee. We will mail notification of their decision by April 1. If for some reason you don’t receive our written notice, we will be happy to provide the results over the phone beginning April 11th.”</p>
