<p>eh, i don’t know. i’m NMF so i’ll get 1/2 tuition. my COA for UCLA and USC are about the same so i’m pretty w/e about the whole thing and I applied to the same major for both schools. For what it’s worth, I’d still choose USC over UCLA. It’s a lot easier to transfer into film at USC than get accepted into UCLA film (they only take 15 UCLA kids and you won’t even know until you’re a junior). And you could minor in film at USC and major in something closely related. To be fair, though, I don’t know anything about UCLA’s film minor or if there even is one. </p>

<p>I never had the status “forwarded” which is weird because it seems like everyone else did.</p>
<p>This is my new theory: they’ve accepted everyone for Production and are now working through the rejections. It makes sense that all of the people that got phone calls would get accepted into their first choice in the first round, right? Next I predict they move onto Writing, because Timish has the “being reviewed” status. After they do the writing acceptances/rejections they’ll move onto Critical Studies. There haven’t been any CS people on facebook or here yet. Everyone here who applied to CS and got a status change got into Production, their first choice. So I was probably rejected from Production (not surprisingly - my Production app was kind of weak) and will now be considered for CS (the one I actually worked really hard on). So I guess I still have some hope left.</p>

<p>For once disagree with @dream. Don’t think they’ve accepted all production people yet. Have accepted those candidates “who spoke” to the committee members (whatever that means–very subjective), and some got phone interviews. Now they are probably deciding on another 50-100 candidates who are vying for another 10-15 slots. So everyone keep your hopes up!!!</p>
<p>So I applied to the film production program and this is my DREAM school! I haven’t heard anything from USC or sca and I can’t stand this waiting anymore! <p>@dream–well, we’ll see what happens. i’m still waiting on nyu, chapman, and hampshire. UCLA’s a close second followed by NYU, then chapman/hampshire depending on fin aid. my gf is considering UCLA/Chapman, that’s why USC was one of my top choices for all the fin aid. we’ll see though. i have too many ap credits and not enough money to waste a semester at USC.</p>

<p>Disagree again. Think CS, Production, SW completely different admission committee members who work independently of each other. Think you can get into 1st and 2nd choice in SCA.</p>

<p>deadline is April 1! So there is plenty of time for more acceptances. Right now committee members are fighting over the remaining spots and are trying to get their candidate in. No decision is easy when committees are involved. Keep the faith!!</p>
