<p>@ dream, Benjo, & anonymityftw Congrats! I got the NYU email too! If I hadn’t read this board I wouldn’t have known I got accepted. Tisch Film Production! I probably won’t end up going there though; NYU is known to give very little financial aid. But it’s still great to get in!</p>
<p>Also, I got my USC packet today, but I don’t know if I got into SCA yet because I’m in SoCal visting Long Beach State because I’m a potential President’s Scholar (full ride based on my NMF status). My dad called to tell me the big letter came and I’m so psyched to find out, but I want to open it for myself. Is that weird? I just feel like this is the most important letter I’ll receive from USC, and I don’t want to experience it secondhand.</p>
<p>Ahh @losthestory - I’m so sure you’re accepted. But yeah, NYU’s financial aid does suck. I wish you the best of luck! (Though I’m pretty sure you don’t need it…!)</p>

<p>@dream, By the way, I just finished the lives of others, easily one of the best films i’ve ever seen (probably tied with first). I also wanted to ask you if you’ve seen “une prophete” ? I’d say it’s on par with the Lives of others.</p>
<p>Also a general question about SCA…Does it strike you that there are very few international students? I’ve been combing the old threads and googling for internationals and it seems that there’s been perhaps 3 or so international student acceptances (Canadian students If I remember correctly). Are international acceptances rare? Anyone know?</p>

I’m so happy right now. I’m pretending to clean up the living room now so I can see out the windows and stalk my mailbox without being too creepy. I don’t think my mail will come for another two hours though, and even then a USC package may not be in it yet… agh!!!</p>

I think there probably still debating on certain people for now and they only sent stuff out to the people that were like automatic yes’s or automatic no’s. I don’t think you should worry. :]
and like i said earlier I was talking to the a couple weeks ago and they were JUST starting to look at some of the undergrads stuff, so if someone is on the fence they’re not going to go through the process THAT fast with how competitive this place is. I mean after all it IS a committee so there’s probably some arguing going on.</p>

<p>I haven’t gotten a phone interview. When was the most recent interview? =[ Cause if the last one was more than a week ago, I’m pretty sure I didn’t get in anymore.</p>
<p>By the way I applied as an undergrad for the production major.</p>
<p>@Envision–The first wave of acceptances back in january and were the presidential/trustee scholars–all had in person interviews. The second wave of production acceptances all had phone interviews about 2-3 weeks ago and got acceptances around 3/17. Everyone that interviewed has not necessarily heard back for whatever reason. Not too sure if everyone gets interviewed, last year not everyone was interviewed who got in but this is a new year and the program has gotten more competitive. Probably will start another round of interviews this week once they’ve narrowed down the applicant pool to a reasonable number so be prepared to get a phone call out of the blue. Don’t stress. Think they just want to see if you can carry on a conversation. Good luck to everyone!!!</p>
