<p>Envision…I don’t know that there are really any waves at this point. People will continue to get accepted daily for another week or so but it won’t be a wave. For SCA I think they make their decisions and then send it to USC admissions and then USC admissions has to decide (if they have not already) if the student has the academic ability to succeed at USC. For some applicants this is probably not a tough hurdle for others it might take a day or so. I also think it just depends how backed up the person is who is dealing with that particular applicant. It is also my understanding that USC looks at the applicant at the same time SCA is looking and if they are not done with that applicant then they have to take time to make a dec. on that applicant. (that is why some SCA applicants got in to USC before SCA made their dec. Three SCA applicants got in to USC before SCA decided…so USC admissions does make an independent dec.) It is getting down to the end but there is still hope for everyone, for sure.</p>

<p>@chatty idk if thats totally truee… at least not from what the SCA tour guides said… they said that the 2 admissions (USC & SCA) are separate so you basically have 2 chances to get into USC. They said that if USC rejects you and SCA wants you they can override USC’s decision, however its rare but yeah. That’s just what they told us…</p>

<p>Is it just me, or does it seem like all the people that have gotten accepted so far are either from California, Flordia, or New York? I have a feeling that they’re going through the applications by location…</p>

From looking at Facebook, the music and theatre threads on CC and the SC Forum it appears that students have been accepted in Hawaii (roughly 40), Illinois, Texas and Washington. I know of one in Georgia, a friend’s son with high scores and grades. Also, many international students have been admitted.</p>
<p>These boards are only a tiny segment of over 35,500+ applicants.</p>

<p>I should have clarified: It seems all the SCA decisions have only been in CA, FL, and NY (and other east coast states). I mean, I haven’t heard of anyone from the Chicago area hearing from SCA yet.</p>
