<p>@dream. waiting for that letter. admission to critical or film will be here later in a sep. envelope according to admin. i don’t think i would have been accepted to usc unless crit or film accepted me. i know one student was accepted to just usc but not sca department. my stats are not that strong so we will see. the admit guy talked a minute about transferring from undeclared etc. the general envelope had the admission letter, a frame-able 8x10 welcome certificate and the costs are out of this world. hope i will be able to afford this.</p>

<p>Does USC ever release numbers/acceptance rates for SCA? How many people do you think apply for each division/overall?</p>
<p>They never release those numbers, but the number most frequently tossed around is that their acceptance rate is around 5%. Since SCA has 865 undergrads, I would say that ~17,000 people apply. I have no idea what the statistics are for each individual program, though.</p>
<p>@nwfilmstudent…make sure to let us know when you get the letter from SCA… are you CLAS undecided on your acceptance letter with a further note that they will contact you when SCA makes their decision?
@franz… have not seen published numbers but it appears that production maybe accepts 60 for 50 seats. Over 1000 apply for production. Not sure about other concentrations in SCA</p>
<p>I’m sorry it’s taken me so long to get back here and let you know that my D who had applied to Prod 1st choice and CS 2nd choice was admitted to USC undeclared, rejected from Prod and still waiting for CS. The date on the letter was the date her status changed to reviewed 3/19 and the postmark was 3/23. We got the package on 3/24. Best of luck to all of you!</p>

<p>Hi guys. My letter does not say any major or any school, which is why we called admissions. he said that a follow up letter will be forthcoming from SCA. He claimed to not know or was going to share what their decision was. Admission told us that if I get rejected from SCA, then I go in as an undeclared. So, who knows. I just keep thinking that since I am not a 4.0 with 2400 SAT’s, that I must have been accepted to something at SCA. I bet it will be CS. At this point, I don’t care…</p>
