business4life, ProcrastiNate, flattie9, and bballguy, how did you all do so well on the critical reading?

My, please, I think I made stupid mistakes at writing section,, I usually don't make mistakes, so should I retry it?? this was my third time, and I got 2220(stupid score for my standard) nearly no improvement since March retest at seoul..

CR: 740(98%) what the...I expect over 770..damn, I think I made pretty mistakes in some places..I don't get it...
Math: 800(99%) didn't care...not impressive to me..
Writing: 680(mc 62, essay 12) what the fuXX!!! I think I just made crazy mistakes while circling the answers...I genuinely expect it to get over 750...I can't believe this...

So, respectful CCers, do I have to do this SAT one more time?? I can get this score right, yet I am not sure to retake for this, because I don't have much time, in October this year..

I am shooting for top Ivys, but I have really unique speciality in EC..so, I have to weigh this SAT for sure...SO, please give me some kind advice.. would you??

chronic,

A 2400. :p (I didn't want to post my scores here, since I took the test as a tutor, not a student.)

godot.... wow. even for a tutor... wow!

CR 690 (94 %)

Wow! Thank god for my writing score to bring me over 2110 mark! Although I said I was going to stop once I reach 2110, I am definitely taking it again. Did I do that bad in math? ^^ Hopefully, my math will go up quite a bit next time. Apparently, that finger length thing is true.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SOMEONE GIVE ME A GOOD READING SCOREE!!!
lols i'll study like crazy over the summer.

geeze....I was aiming for 600-650 in each section, but I am not even close. I was also expecting at least a 720 in writing. Oh well. I guess I will be taking it again in October. :(

Are the scores posted on the website right now true? I'm sort of freaking out because i didn't expect this (my first time taking the test). Under 'My Scores', it says all 800's and a 78 MC and 11 essay, so can i trust this?

Woohoo!

ecthelion1211, I saw your chance thread
i suggest you to go right ahead, and apply for top ivies.

Jeez! I thought I did a lot better than my March SAT, but I stayed the same.
(I took the test with typed essay and regular time, so I got a different test from everybody else...)

Which is a 2100.

Only someone on College Confidential could be ticked off that they did "badly" with those scores. Which, of course, means I am. :D

can we trust these scores though? there's nothing for mine but the number next to math and reading, and then the two sub-scores for writing. im sort of just afraid this is all gonna turn out to be a dream :)

As much as I'd like to believe that these scores could change, you'll be glad to know that these scores are accurate. I've never actually heard of, or seen them, change (these scores are official) . The test has already been graded; the detailed score reports will be up in a week or so.

jealous at Mr. 2400 :D

i am retaking to get at least 2250 in october.

but i need an opinion: is at 2190 good for any ivies? i mean i read a post somewhere on CC and the guy was speaking condescendingly on a 2230.

so am i naive to apply to ivies with this score? or should i take a "crapshoot"?
