<p>I took the ACT in June and got a 30, but all my practice tests at home have been 32s and 33s. It’s so frustrating.</p>

<p>On my last practice test I got a 35 on science, and just made a few dumb errors on English and math. Need to get a 33+ so LSU gives me free room & board.</p>

Comment: I really hope it’s a hard English section because I’m really good at it (33) and that the math and science sections are relatively easy.</p>

Comment: I hope the Science section this time around is really easy but with -1 equaling a 34. I always manage to do much better on those ones.</p>
<p>Update: I think my prediction is pretty reasonable. Just got a 31 on English today, taking more to get higher. I just studied grammar like crazy and read silverturtle’s guide.</p>
<p>Also, the 6 I missed today, I knew why I got them wrong (5 of them were stupid mistakes), before I would get it wrong and would not know why.</p>

<p>Anyhow, I just scored a 36 on math in a practice section. I really need a 36 on math because it’s my best subject. Hoping for 36 in science. if I can get 2 36’s, I think I’m set for a 35.</p>

<p>I’ve been having a lot of trouble with the ACT. My best subject is math and english and I can only get 27-29 on those. Then there’s reading and science… I can’t even finish those sections and usually end up guessing. I get like a 21 on reading and 25 on science. I’m trying to get a 30 but at this point it seems hopeless. Anyone have any suggestions?</p>
