Official September ACT Results Thread!

Missed 1 on science and 5 on math

But you don’t know what you go wrong? Right?

If -5 is a 33 then I made at least a 34 on math :D

Can someone please explain the way to access them?? Feel free to message me if you don’t want to post on here for some reason.

i just want a 30+ on math :(. im pretty sure i got -8

If -5 is a 33 is -2 going to be a 35 you guys think?

anybody think -7 could be a 32?
if i get a 32 on math i get a 32 composite.

Wait sillyup I thought you were getting a 36 on each section! Jk haha, but it did seem that by the way you were talking you believed you would score higher than a 32

I think -7 would a 31 :(

So far I know I got a 34+ on science and math… I’m so nervous about the reading and english scores though; I wish with writing was up!

its so unfair! our math curve will be similar to this test even though the math test we took was way harder! http://www.act.org/aap/pdf/Preparing-for-the-ACT.pdf

That is an extremely generous curve… I’d love to have -2/-3 as a 35 and -4/-5 as a 34. I actually believe that test is similar in difficulty, because the first 50 or so questions on the September test we took were extremely easy

true, the first 50 were easy.

Are people guessing how much they got wrong or does it tell you? hahaha

On the practice tests/released tests it has a curve given. Also if you order a test (like I did for the April 2013 test) it also comes with a curve given.

My guess for math is +/- 1

I believe people are just guessing right now. If you order your answer sheet, you wouldn’t have it yet. The subscores (such as 15,17,16) DO NOT mean that you
got 6 wrong. Yes, the max is 18 for each subsection, but there were not 54 total questions.
Maybe they are correlating the subscores with past tests ??

any predictions for when w/ writing scores will be up?

Yeah, I’m using the scale for the subscores from the April 2013 test to estimate the scale

@ketann
Wow -7 was 32 for that test. How rare does it occur?
