Can’t lie, kind of disappointed

@kei04086 W/e their loss :)

@Mlolo98 Did you get in?

I’ve already been rejected by 2 programs, and probably 3 once Arthritis Foundation sends it

@ankwen It’s ok I’ve been rejected by 3 already…

@kei04086 nope! Before I was crying, but seriously it is no reflection on you. I’m sure you’re all wonderful, so yeah: their loss! I don’t need a summer program to improve myself and neither do any of you!

is there a fb group for admitted students yet? I’m from so cal and im trying to find housing on the Stanford website but it won’t let me in

Now that this is said and done, have any of you guys applied to the Canary Center at Stanford Internship? Decisions come out Apr. 15th. or “notification begins April 15, 2014”
<a href=“Canary Center at Stanford Internship Program | Canary Center at Stanford | Stanford Medicine”>http://canarycenter.stanford.edu/positions/internship.html

Yeah, is there a Facebook group? I’m trying to find one.

if we made one, how would we confirm who got in and who is a ■■■■■ :c

I’m assuming we’ll know who else got in later…

@eaturcandy123 OMG SOCAL REPRESENTTT

@IIlIll
whoever makes it should require the others to pm them a pic of the accepted email lol, it should be the same for everyone except maybe the links to the google docs

@personontexist yay!!! i was hoping for other socal ppl.
@jiggla i tried making a group but fb needs me to invite people into the group… only i dont know anyone TT_TT

@eaturcandy123 Can I just message you my facebook name?

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone would be willing to read and critique my diversity essay for future reference. I have no way of knowing whether something is good or not since I’m the first of my family to apply to a U.S. college. And no worries, I can take the criticism. :)

Anyone who got in, can u plz post ur stats so the rest of us can understand their application process?

knowing stats has ~nothing to do with understanding the application process…

I think summer programs are more like applying to college than anything else - for comparison for our stats, look in HYPSMC decision threads

@predent
Yeah I did too.
Any idea how many ppl apply/get in?

There are 12 spots for high school students. I have no idea how many people applied.
http://canarycenter.stanford.edu/positions/internship-projects.html
So odds seem to be very low, maybe even lower, for this one.:l

so did someone make an fb group for the accepted people? Also, im willing to pm interested people my essays!
