Do you know the stats of the transfer that was accepted? Ill keep my options open. Thanks for responding and keeping in touch :)

And did you get your letter yesterday? I made sure that I reached out to Skidmore constantly- through an interview, calls/emails with the transfer coordinator, and attending an off campus event in Los Angeles (2 hours away from where I live). I hope they take that into consideration. Do you mind me asking what was your EFC? I’m afraid mine might be too low and because they are financially aware of all applicants, I might be rejected based I that.

Thats all very good. I didn’t reach out to them at all, but they weren’t my top. I did however reach out to Smith a lot and interviewed with them, so that stuff really helps. My letter was sent on April 8th, and I got it yesterday. My EFC was 00142, which is pretty low, so I definitely think that played in a factor in my rejection, but you deserve to get in and hopefully they see that.

Also as for L&C my friend had one year at SF state a good SAT score from High School but bad grades. He did have straight A’s at SF state, and good teacher recs. Idk exactly but he was basically a very strong candidate, despite not having much college at all so far

how exactly does Skidmore notify people? Do they email you or just send a letter?

They send a letter! Did you apply as a transfer? What are your stats?

Hey everyone, has anyone else received their decision letter?

Danidanitoscano congrats on getting into BARD! You deserved it. I am so happy to hear that you have been admitted into such a good university. You’re way too good for skidmore (we both are).

Thanks so much! I was denied from skidmore. Really sad for me (I cried actually) but you’re right we are both better than that hahah. Where did you finally decide to go?

Smith for sure, and im excited to attend a highly ranked university that doesnt care about financial need. Also im sad to hear that but im sure you’ll be happy at bard 8)
