What really helped me was my rural minnesota status...

You know, I'm still pretty undecided. All I know is I love studying social sciences, languages, and that sort of thing. I'm not interested in majoring in science or math.

I really don't know yet. Maybe Latin American Studies. Maybe international relations or political science. I really don't know yet. How about you gandalf?

hahaha i hate to interrupt, but I am going to major in chemistry/American literature..
I suck at English, so I want to learn it well in Williams.

Thanks hopeman... I bet you'll catch on quick at Williams. You are obviously very intelligent ot be accepted. Seriously, the rate of acceptance for internationals is insanely low!

you know whats weird CC'ers...all of the people on here basically got accepted..and almost everyone I know from my area (New York City) had incredible stats and still got deferred. im just confused

most of us, except Gandalf and I, attended multicultural weekend. in another words, they were wanted by Williams and were paid full freight to the trip so that they may consider attending the college. So that means that they were highly wanted candidates to begin with, IMO.

hey kids! i called in on friday and was told i was accepted. i, like leonesa, am from minnesota, though only 20 min away from minneapolis. congrats to all of my future classmates and to those who were not accepted, don't get discouraged!

in case anyone was interested:

just wondering, what is everyone planning on majoring in. i am thinking physics (or some sort of math thing), though i am sure after i go for a while i will either decide i dont like that or find something better
and anybody at williams, did you start in physics and then change your mind? why?
