Obviously, 1 point is more likely but 2 is definitely not out of the question. Although, with such a good score, there is not much room for improvement!

wow i finaly calmed down and accepted that scores would come at on the 28th. i randomly get on this site to see how people feel about the September date and i read all this about scores being ready tomorrow. i think im about to faint

I would say that it is quite likely he could raise his score by 1-2 poits with hard core studying. However, remember that at these levels, a lot comes down to luck. Its one silly mistake or one obscure concept that you never learned that will cost you critical points.

if he has a 33 i wouldn’t worry too much about raising his score. that is 99th percentile already, isn’t it?

Mike - I totally agree and have tried to tell him that 33 is fabulous (yes it is 99th %). His senior brother also took the test and got a 21 so that is why I am discussing it on here instead of at home. Both great kids, just gifted in different areas.

I took it without writing and it actually came in the mail today

If he really wants a 35, he should go for it. To be honest, I personally would retake anything that isn’t a 35 or 36. If he is ready to put himself through four hours of torture for those two points, they really mean something to him. And certain elite colleges do not consider a 33 and a 35 the same score. They are vastly different scores.

My friend here in Indiana who didn’t take writing got his score in the mail today.

maybe they’re doing site maintainence now to get ready for the huge amount of usage they will encounter on monday.

My daughter received her ACT score in the mail today. No writing and we live in Colorado.

If they already mailed out scores, they really don’t need to wait till Monday to put them up on the website. That really wouldn’t be fair to those of us who don’t live near IA or those of us who took the writing portion of the test.

hm. i wonder why the site is down. hopefully they’re uploading scores?

lets hope so…

Well the site is back up and the scores still aren’t available. Looks like it will be 1:00 AM EST on Monday. ugh…

definitely frustrating to read some are getting results by mail, yet not online yet! when i saw status as tested and site would be down for maintenance i too thought they might be online today.

Sunday at 1AM ■■■

Haha. Now there’s maintenance on Saturday…

lolololol

ugh! so frustrating. i just want my score already. i should have just waited patiently til the 28th

I’m not going to check now until 1AM now. I don’t care what maintenance they are doing.

Well… at least I’m “tested” now!
