Official Spring 2012 Cornell Transfer Thread

Did anyone from the PAM program / Humec receive any sort of confirmation yet?

Well deadhead, something tells me that you would thrive in the Cornell atmosphere. There are people who could trully appreciate all it has to offer in terms of academics, opportunities, and the amazing beauty. I am pulling for you and if I was in admissions you would have my support. Good luck!!! I will be following this thread waiting to hear the news.

Always a pleasure hearing from you momma-three because it’s nothing but nice things.

WHO’S READY TO GET THAT LETTER TODAY!!!

spent the weekend at Cornell for the Passion Pit concert  twas so beautiful! good luck to everyone!

so the suspense is murdering me. murder. murder.

also I can’t log into the housing portal :(

^I know this is a debated sign, but still. . .:(

sad face sad face. I am getting murdered.

i shouldve came here sooner. i wasted my time on other threads, etc… -___-

i have some questions for you guys who are waiting for ILR if you dnt mind.

  1. when did you send in ur midterm reports?
-cause i sent my on saturday and admissions said my app was now complete.
  2. does that mean they’re going to decide whether im in or not? or did they decide before?
  3. do you know the number of how many people apply and how many are accepted to ILR?

good luck yall.
and congrads to those who got in!~

I sent mine in on October 21st

Once your application is complete, your application will be forwarded for review. They have not looked at your application yet. I know because when I talked to an admissions person, they said that they can only view students’ files once they have the midterm report in.

if you go back a couple threads, there is a link to statistics, but there are no stats for spring. Last year 195 were accepted out of a pool of 235 for spring and fall transfers

@ashpel
Thank you! i really appreciate it.

@jadey Have you got your admission?

nope, not yet :(

Nothing today. Man I’m going crazy. All this is pretty much a standstill to my productivity.

can’t stop checking cornell housing page and CC. . .
and my second-half semester midterm is next week!! which means i couldn’t send my mid-term report yet… so I called cornell today and they want me to send it by next week anyway… but I know someone who didn’t turn in mid-term report and got in.
and the lady who answered my phone told me that some decisions will come out in mid-december. :frowning: ■■■

@qawsed I sent my midterm report to ILR on October 29th. They also told me that they won’t start to review your application without the midterm report.

Maybe we should start a list of everyone posting here so we can keep track of which college everyone applied to and what the eventual decisions will be?

@deadhead654 refresh me. When did you turn in the last of your materials? I got my midterm report in on Oct. 24th or 26th.

@Unicornbubbles here’s my timeline:

Sent in Common App on Sept 2.

Sent in supporting Materials AND Midterm report before Oct 3

Application forwarded on Oct 12.

@deadhead654 You were on top of it! Sounds like you should know before the rest of us.

I applied to A&S economics, one of the hardest to get in…I am peacefully waiting for the rejection letter.

@Richard I was just rejected by Olin. I will be waiting for another rejection, peacefully as well. BTW, Olin and Cornell’s AEM, which is more transfer friendly?

i am kinda nervous. inform me when u hear something

Exactly 1 year ago today, the Spring 2011 applicants received their first notification of admissions (excluding GT’s), so let us hope today will bring the same fortune! Good luck everyone!
