<p>Nobody receiving rejection makes me wonder if admissions go first, followed by rejections. Am I being negative

<p>The Admission Office website said that most decisions (I think especially non-GTs) will be available from mid Nov to Mid Dec. I think after all the acceptance letters are sent, the rest are rejected.</p>
<p>can anyone explain what a GT is?</p>
<p>GT’s are guaranteed transfers that were denied their original transfer request and offered a guaranteed transfer upon completion if another semester at another college usually to meet prereqs that hadn’t been met yet.</p>
<p>They have to maintain a 3.5 GPA and complete the courses Cornell requires before the semester that they received the GT for.</p>
<p>I thought it was only maintain B in the required courses.</p>
<p>A guaranteed transfer can also come from a community college. Cornell offers several guaranteed transfer majors in CALS.</p>
<p>So who watching this thread is preparing for fall 2012 transfer admission?</p>
