Creating this thread to discuss the Cornell application process for Spring Transfer. Please chime in with stats and additional info.

Application Deadline: 10/01 (soon!)
Req'd Materials: Common App, Cornell Supplement, and Reports (Mid-term Report, Registrar's Report, 1+ Academic Report), Final Report (High School), HS and College Transcripts

My stats:

Applying: From NYS Community College, took a semester at NYU
To: Arts and Science, Philosophy Major as a Junior
GPA: 3.8 combined, with 58 credits at end of semester (18 credits in progress)
HS GPA: 3.8
SAT:1970 (retaking in October)
EC's: Many academic extracurriculars.
Three great letters of recommendation from college professors.
I'm hoping the supplement essay (rather lengthy) demonstrating my interest for Cornell will help me.

I applied last semester to Cornell and got rejected.

Anyone else applying to one of Cornell's colleges? Please post any additional information, your stats, advice etc.

It seems like the application process for the basic common app + forms is the same regardless of college applying to. ILR may need other info in addition to common app. So yes it’s req’d.

@OP Government, International Relations subfield. Supplement essay is long, just under 600 words, but I’m pleased with it. Now all we can do is wait! Good luck!

@Ankitt I’m pretty sure the Final Report is required. Can’t say for sure, but since it’s included in my additional forms section, I’m going to assume it’s required.

If I submit the application by the deadline date, do you guys know if it is fine to have one of my recommendation letter from a co-worker come in a few days later? I want to give him enough time to write it, so it might be in by October 3rd.
