Other Factors:
General Comments/Congratulations/Venting/Commiserations,etc: Annoyed, very annoyed, especially at them for lying on their website. Whatever, I'm hoping that one the east coast Ivies will see something Stanford didn't, or at least give me a boost due to Oregon's lack of representation there.

Wow, guys. I've been stalking the decisions threads, and damn, out of all of them so far, I'd say that Stanford's is the most absurd. Just shows how amazing the applicant pool was.

Major congrats to those few of you who were accepted!!!! To those of you who were deferred, great job for getting this far and good luck in the regular action pool. And to those of you who were rejected, DAMN you guys are intimidatingly amazing and I'm sure you'll end up somewhere equally awesome!

Which Canadian got deferred? I wonder if any Canadians who don't have us residency got in

well I'm glad it's out of the way lol :D

.serendipity got deferred from Canada, and grats to her :)
but the bleak showing from Canada is just plain ridiculous

I'm the Canadian that got deferred.

I'd imagine the bleak showing in general is pretty ridiculous. Kudos on those rejected having courage to post here!

CC Acceptance Rate stands at a low 13.1%...

^wait, does that include deferrals?

General Comments/Congratulations/Venting/Commiserations,etc:
Everyone said I would get in because of my website and my non-guy and non-asian activities like Yearbook... but I knew that I was never good enough, esp with siemens and intel winners at my school... I guess I prepared myself for rejection. I don't know what I will do really... Stanford has been my goal since 8 years old. Feels like a slap in the face, esp the line going "oh you're good enough but we don't want you." But I have to move on with my HYP apps... sigh. I guess I wasn't amazing enough despite all the work I do. Not even deferred... sigh again

Oh my god all these rejections with amazing stats just completely shot all my hopes at Stanford.

Accepted!!!!

rejected and really, really depressed. i dont want to go to college anymore.

ACCEPTED!!!!!!! Explodes

stats will come later lol
