***Official Stanford RD 2016 Applicants' Discussion Thread***

Does the subject of the email give the decision away? Any EA students know this?

Nope, I believe it said “Your Stanford Admission Decision,” or something of the like.

Makes it even more nerve-wracking to open it :P

6-7% acceptance rate…great. They said they would accept about 15% of the deferred applicants…I KNOW I’m not one of them, damn.

yeah this EXTREMELY low acceptance rate doesnt look good… OH WELL. i really hope some of us get in…

Just want to stop by to wish you all the best of luck with your Stanford decision. I hope to see many of you on the Farm next year.

Breathe.

They have a 6.6% acceptance rate this year
ADRENALINE RUSH :D

[Admission News : Stanford University](<a href=“Page Not Found : Stanford University”>Page Not Found : Stanford University)

^Make that about 5.3% for RD :stuck_out_tongue:
Breathe

^ Wow

Will Stanford’s email system lag like Harvard’s did?

LOL Rejecting 95% of applicants? It’s so crazy It is funny. Well good luck to all of you! Stanford has been my #1 choice since 10th grade. However, with a nice acceptance letter from yesterday, I am pleased to say I can handle handle whatever Stanford drops in my inbox.

The waiting is almost over. The bottomline is you’ve given it your best shot and that by applying to Stanford you certainly have the qualifications to make it at any of the top schools. Remember that success is determined by the student and not the school. Hope some of you join my son at the Farm.

Good luck everyone. A year ago, my D was waiting to hear - it’s been much calmer this year to say the least. What an amazing time of life!

who else feels like they are going to pass out?!

I definitely feel like passing out!

Never give up on your dreams

to identify your decision group

i feel like this will be so any climactic, with a similar situation to the harvard emaills… BUT I SURE HOPE NOT

5%! That’s way better odds than the $640,000,000 mega-millions draw tonight. Buy a ticket, though, as a backup plan.

I’m a 95 for sure.

haha fingers crossed… any minute now ?

Is it right at 3pm Pacific? I believe the post said “sometime after.”
