I honestly don’t recall where I got 6.8% (it was on some chart) but we should all expect ridiculously low numbers. Applications spiked like crazy this year

Uhhh. Imagine how low it’ll be when I start applying for applications!! D:
Highschool Class of 2014
Being a frehsmen sucks

^
lol yeah, there’s going to be like a 1% acceptance rate at Harvard and over 100,000 applicants world-wide (for your sake, I hope I’m wrong).

[Undergraduate applications to Stanford continue to rise](<a href=“You've requested a page that no longer exists | Stanford News”>You've requested a page that no longer exists | Stanford News)
[Stanford decisions 2015 - Harvard decisions 2015 - Ivy league notification date 2011 - Record applications to Harvard College | News Trends](http://www.newstrend.co.cc/news/record-applications-to-harvard-college.html)

But considering how Harvard’s application consists of one “optional” essay…

Projected admit rates based on last year’s numbers of accepted students (including from the waitlist):

Harvard: 2200/35000 = 6.3%
Stanford: 2340/34200 = 6.8%
Yale: 2039 / 27230 = 7.5%

Ugh, after being waitlisted at WashU and UChicago, I’m not even getting my hopes up for anywhere else. :(

^ the same thing happened to me… =(

does anyone know if it will be the 25th for sure, or not?

Hope it’s the 25th!! They don’t send out emails before do they?

i would hope that they could send an email before to let us know on exactly what day we should be EXPECTING them…

There will likely be an announcement at [Admission News : Stanford University](<a href=“Page Not Found : Stanford University”>Page Not Found : Stanford University) in the morning the day descision will be released. Only a few hours warning, but still nice to have!

I’m not obsessed enough to check their site every morning before I go to school! I hope they come out on the 25th…

wait so are decisions sent in an email or posted online with the SUNetID/Axess thing? and if it is the Axess how do you get your login information? freaking out that i missed something big here… ahaha thanks!!

Decisions are sent by e-mail.

After being waitlisted at UChicago, I’m starting to believe that rejections at Stanford (and other top schools) are imminent.

ONE WEEK! 10char

^Or two weeks

or less than 1 week :P

All I can say is: aiyahhh!

We know it’s coming… Meh. I wonder if all the decisions have been made? What do admissions officers do the last couple weeks before the release?

Are last minute decisions made? OMGAH. Too much too think about. I hope I’ll get at least some sleep this week.

They do not send any indication email! The morning of decision notification, at about 8am PST, they will post a notice on the Admissions News Site! Then later in the date, at about 3pm, they will send an email with the Subject “Your Stanford Admission Decision”.

That’s how it worked in REA! :D

GL everyone! I’m a nervous wreck waiting for this!! :/
