So, wait, the decisions come via e-mail right? Or am I completely lost??? :O

^that’s right (the part about them coming by email, not the other one )

Yes, you will receive an email with your decision. As far as that tidbit posted earlier, it was published via [Admission News : Stanford University](http://www.stanford.edu/dept/uga/site/news/index.html)

It’s all very confusing to be honest. Two years ago the normal decision period was most similar to this year where decisions were only released a day before April 1st rather than almost a week early (like it’s been with REA 2009, RD 2010, REA 2010).

Guys, I can stop worrying, my 80-year-old grandmother just assured me that I would get into Stanford.

How much of an indicator would you say that getting deferred is for them? I mean when you’re deferred it means that you’re worth being looked at a second time with them… right?

I recieved my admission for autumn 2011 early March, but this is for my graduate studies in geophysics! so excited! 2 of my friends from my undergrad school got admitted as well.

i was really hoping we’d find out tomorrow…oh well

anyone else feel that that post on their website already sounds like a rejection letter? arghhh

^^ hahahaha that’s so true!!

So is it confirmed that it isn’t tomorrow?

Yes. According to their blog it’ll come out on April 1st.

I heard that every year they release something like this and still release earlier

gonna be laughing when I get an email tomorrow

Yup, hopefully we’ll all have decisions at 5PM tomorrow :P

Haha I’m looking at this thread because I applied early action and got rejected. Stanford is SO tough!!! Don’t worry if you’re rejected though because I have heard many stories of Stanford rejecting people who got into harvard. I feel they tend to take less from the east coast tho.

I just don’t understand what Stanford gains out of fooling people. I think we’ll get it early, maybe Monday… but why would they post this and then release decisions the next day?

I am seeing tomrrrow still

I am betting we’ll receive our decisions next week, probably April 1st

I want my rejection now!
