Eh. It’s just Stanford. I mean, I’m really going to try and not lose my mind over a rejection; I don’t want to see it as the culmination of all my hard work and whatnot.

I’ll try. Hahaha. Good luck to everyone!

So what’s the diff between this thread and the SCEAers thread? I’ve gotten so used to posting on that one lol.

NVM I got it now sorry lol.

can i get some cake before i read the email? cause if i get rejected, at least i can smile cause i have some cake :D

That’s a good point. Everyone take note: eat cake while reading your email because you will be happy no matter what.

I know, my application could have been already put in the ‘rejection’ pile and still here I am, getting so worried for no real reason.

^ That’s exactly how I feel. I was probably already rejected. Oh well! SLKDKFDS

Sooooooo… what does SLKDKFDS mean?

Prussia - nice job on the decisions thread. I like the very inspiring introduction.

ok I don’t get the difference between this thread and the stanford 2014ers one.

oh man, why, whyyyy did I apply to Stanford. what I am destined for?

I think I’ll open the email, look the other way, and discern the length of the email through peripheral vision.

Then I’ll know.

The other thread is more of a general chat thread for REAers. This one is centered around the decisions thread, and will be more of a focus once those are actually out. It’s for congrats/condolences on individual posts as well as comments on trends in this year’s decisions.
Until then, we’re just doing some speculation on the decisions.

Thanks jony, glad you liked it!

I’m not really sure if this has anything to do with anything, but the Dartmouth ED thread looked pretty promising. Hopefully that’ll be the case across the board :)

I doubt we’ll be Slaughtered as badly as last year. I’ve got a good feeling about the CCers on this board.

I like your positive thinking, sg12! :)

The one student who applied early to Dartmouth at my school got in. I’m so happy for him.

Also,

@sg12 your capitalization of Slaughtered made me laugh. :P

I just find it so weird to think that here I am, hoping that I get into Stanford, and waiting patiently until next week to find out, yet somewhere out in California my application sits in a big pile where my decision has already been determined, yet i’m still stuck here not knowing. I could have been rejected two weeks ago for all I know, yet I still sit here hopefully.

there are so many CCers who are very well qualified to get in. im sure there will be a majority in the acceptance pile. im not trying to optimistic here, cause its true!
have you even noticed how EVERYONE here is just so awesome? i have a feeling there’ll be sooooooooooooooo many of us getting good news on the 15th (or 16th, im my case)

Note: stanford bipolar check: good day.

:D cheers!

No problem, thanks for the info! Good to hear that someone else out there is thinking like me =)

Just shot up a quick prayer for you and everyone else in this thread right now!

ITS COMING TODAY GUYS

Omg what what what!!!???

Oh, Nitro. We’ll miss you at Stanford. I was really hoping you would get in. :(
