lulz harborceal you opened a whoollle can of worms.

ahahaha I know what a feeding frenzy! guys you all can PM me if you want, it’s not THAT exciting.

It’s pretty exciting. ;)

aaaahhh iman no! James Joyce needs attending to!

To help all of you cope with whatever the outcome may be on the 7th/14th :)

@ducklings - that’s adorable. I will have this up and ready:

On a random note, have any of you read ‘Admission’? When you’re a college applicant, that book is scarier than the best of Edgar Allan Poe’s work.

Hey guys, so I could be totally and completely wrong here but didn’t hurricane Irene extend deadlines last year too? And the results still managed to come out in December one digits then so maybe there’s hope that it will come out this week (unless I am wrong; in that case, just disregard this message). :)

EDIT: Whoops I totally got the dates wrong. I forgot that Irene occurred during the summer, not fall of 2011. Sorry if I mislead anyone.

wait going back a little bit–i would also like to know-- i got a 2160 1 sitting, 2180 superscore (took it twice)

and then a 36 ACT on one sitting…how is the SAT compared to my ACT on the point scale? thanks!

Your SATs at about a 32/33 I think for the superscore

I’ve been stalking this thread for a while but harborceal’s offer pulled me in. Could you pm that to me as well? Thanks a million

Can someone pm it to me as well? Im so curious now!

@harborceal

Please PM me the details about the SAT incremental points system.

Harborceal, could you PM that information to me too?

Harborceal: Me, too, please

How many days before the actual announcement date will they say something like, “Decisions to be released tomorrow”?

I think someone posted before that they don’t announce decision date until the day of. So if they were coming out this Friday, there should be a post on Stanford’s website that says: SCEA decisions announced this afternoon 3 PM PST. no earlier than that.

Harborceal, could you PM me as well ? Thank you !

Apologies if this has already been posted, I must have missed it!

“Every application to Stanford is considered both individually and within the context of a very large and talented applicant pool. This year we reviewed more than 6,100 Restrictive Early Action applications and accepted approximately 750.”

[Restrictive Early Action FAQs : Stanford University](<a href=“Page Not Found : Stanford University”>FAQs : Stanford University)

750/6100 = 12.3%
6100 marks a 3.7% increase in applications over last year’s 5880

This wait is brutal!

OMG does that mean they’ll release this Friday?! They said “accepted” sooo it’s all done…
