How do you track if the rest of your application has been received?

As far as I know the following are the only documents that they track:

At least that’s what the email says.

Do the teacher evaluations have to be submitted by November 1st? One of mine hasn’t submitted yet, and even though I’m pretty sure she’ll turn it in on time, I just want to make sure.

i mean im applying with little chance but the benefit of the doubt is always teasing

How does one check if they received the additional recommendation letter ? Also I had sent my SAT scores a while back, yet credentials sent an update today that scores haven’t been “processed” yet, and neither is my transcript. I submitted my early app two days ago. Do they first update the app then update the other material? TIA

^^^ your transcript is a part of the school report your counselor has to turn in. After s/he turns it in, give Stanford a few days, though Stanford processed mine the same day my counselor turned my school report in. I don’t know how to check for an additional letter and the SAT. I took the SAT this October XP

The SAT takes a little longer to process just give it a week or two and if it still appears as not processed then go ahead and call. My SAT scores took about a week until it appeared as processed even though I took it in May.

Do any of you guys know if Stanford sees first quarter grades before making their early decision? I know there’s a Mid-Year Report, but that goes out in February, after the early notification.

Cherry, I believe that if Stanford decides that your senior year grades will help their evaluation, then your counselor is contacted for the most updated grades available.

Hey guys just got my SAT scores, 2010 ( M: 700, CR :670 , W:640 ) . Do you think I should wait for regular or just apply early?

I got my SAT Subject scores: Math2: 750, Chemistry: 720

My profile is pretty good, my SAT I is 2200 [W790, M740, R670] - should I submit my SAT Subject scores or apply without?

Oh thanks, Eucliiris. Do you think they’re more likely to ask for current grades if you already have really strong grades through junior year or if they’re looking for an upward trend from more average grades?

Just got my US History score back. 750, not bad.

I’ll be submitting it with my 2300 SAT composite, 800 Bio, and 800 Math ii.

Cherry, my guess is if your grades are already strong, Stanford probably wouldn’t bother. Both the applicant and Stanford has a mutual understanding that it will be stupid (at least during the first semester) to slack off. In my case, my grades have been in a rather steep upward slope since 10th grade. So maybe Stanford will request my score?

@Wildcat: awesome scores! Congratulations!

@collegeconscious & jennifer93: if I were me, I think I will try to raise that reading and possibly math score. It is the general consensus that math and reading get more weight in admission decisions.

Yes, collegeconscious, definitely submit those subject test scores. They are good, plus I believe they want all scores anyway.

Actually, Stanford only requires you to submit scores from all sittings of the SAT and/or ACT that you’ve taken. Since subject tests aren’t technically required (but they are strongly recommended), you can decide which of those you choose to submit. As a rule of thumb, subject test scores of 700+ are usually worth submitting. They may help a little, and can’t hurt.

I sent my 750 & 720. Hope it doesn’t go against me!

The latest credentials email still indicates my ACT/SAT scores as “not yet processed”. I sent both scores in August and submitted my stanford app october 15th. Anyone else in the same boat? Deadline is just 3 working days away. Any suggestions? Should I fax them the score reports even though official reports are required? And i still wonder if they received my quarterly grades and the optional recommendation given they don’t track those items? TIA

Just sent in my SCEA app today! Such a weight off my shoulders. Now it’s time to play the waiting game…

Just sent in mine too! The next month will be awful…
