Did you receive a letter in the mail? Any information on scholarship or honors college?

Also, when did you apply?

I’m interested in finding out when I will get my results.

Nope, I got an email saying that my decision is up on the buffalo applicant portal. I called last week and the lady told me that decisions would be out from Feb 1 and LOL guess what I got my email at 735am EST :P

Scholarship information and honors college invitation etc would be given out on March 1.

I applied on Oct 31 actually… I also applied to Georgia Tech, Michigan, Penn State, Cornell and UIUC early and got accepted to all except Cornell. SUNY and PSU were safeties for me but ill strongly consider attending if I get the Presidential Scholarship.

what did the online application status look like when you were accepted?

bump8888888888

i called ub yesterday and they said decisions wouldn’t start coming out till the end of the month…

Umm why would I lie?

It just said:

ACCEPTED
NAME:_____________
MAJOR:___________
PERIOD:___________
Please pay tuition deposit of $150

Guess they’re accepting the best applicants first? Idk lol

I’m literally in the brink of anxiety chaos. I’m attending a really crappy community college in NYC gaining my associates degree in paralegal studies. On a daily basis I check the MYUB portal about 20 times, waiting for any kind of update about my transfer application. My GPA is 3.75 and I was able to verify that UB does have a transfer articulation agreement with my college(Technical Career Institute; TCI College). I sent in my application in December and my transcripts on January 3rd. Any transfer student seeing any kind of update in their MYUB account?. The application status is still requesting my college transcripts, the admissions representative advised me to call back next week to verify whether they really do have my transcripts since they’re just starting with Fall admissions. My anxiety is calling me :/.

@aniruddhc Nice, congrats! What’s your intended major?

@Elizabeth: Thanks :)

I’m planning on majoring in Computer Science but apparently I missed the deadline for the Presidential Scholarship (the website said that they would invite applicants!!) and so I’m not gonna attend Buffalo.

Michigan / Tech / April acceptance(s) here I come ! :|

Oh man that’s unfortunate, but good luck with your other schools! With your stats I’m sure you have a lot to look forward to

Thank you so much, Elizabeth.
Admissions are really unpredictable though. :(

I hope you get into your top choice institution! :)

I just took a look on the UB portal for my son, and it just showed a green dot meaning his application was complete. Would it show acceptance right there too, or do you have to click on something else? I know he applied by November 1st.

@linnylu green dot just means the application is completed it, it never knew i got accepted until i got a big envelope in the mail

Got the BIG envelope today :)

Standard stuff though. This is my first physical acceptance package. The others are too cheap to send me anything. Felt good. Respect+++++++ for Buffalo

Can anyone tell me the website to check application status?

[University at Buffalo](http://www.buffalo.edu) -> go over to where it says MY UB; current students, faculty and staff, and click on login–> type in your id and password they sent you via mail

Hey!! I got an acceptance from UB too:) Does anyone know when will we be receiving the package?? My decisions came on the 7th of this month:)

Did you guys apply for Regular Decision?
