Any internationals received early writes?
Was the Swarthmore portal page updated too or did you just receive letter via mail?
@Jr3800 I got the early write (dated March 9), and my portal page hasn’t been updated since.
I too received the early write but no portal page update
Could someone explain what an early write is?
I don’t know what it means per se, but I take it that they all mean an early letter of acceptance, as one arrived at my home two days ago.
@thehungrysheep Basically a college admissions’ way of showing how badly they want you. On the letter, they let you know that you’re in and that everyone else will have to continue to suffer the anxiety until [innsert date] when all decisions are out. And also you’re kind of special, like so special that you may pick the Harvard or the Yale or the Princeton if you hear from those schools around the same time you hear from that particular college.
So if you get one, be proud of yourself and be kind to others who wait in pain.
I just got an early write from Swarthmore, dated 3/9.
I’m from Pakistan.
@PakiWiz congrats! By e-mail or regular mail?
@pakiwiz were you an aid applicant?
@ammoopi Thanks! By regular mail.
@clueless96 Yes, I am.
Received my early write today. I applied to Swarthmore through the QuestBridge program so I am ecstatic. Does anyone know the percentage of accepted applicants who receive early writes? This really boosts my confidence for the coming weeks filled with college decisions.
Congratulations to everyone who received an early write!
Does anyone know when decisions will be released?
@CO2020Vision the 24th
@ammoopi how do you know?
