What interesteddad always says bears repeating:

Only 44% of the acceptances were sent to white students. This goes up significantly for enrollment, of course, due to differing yield.

woot!!! was watching the ‘swarthmore unscripted’ film today which came with the acceptance package im enjoying the excitement before the 1st :)

what is this film you speak of?? i didnt get one i dont think :-(

^ Ditto. What film is this? My D did not get one either.

It is a DVD sent by admissions as a recruitment tool. If you call them, they will probably send you one.

It was recorded several years ago by students who placed a camera in various places so that any student who wished to comment anything about Swarthmore could do so, hence the title “Swarthmore Unscripted.” If my memory serves me right, it also had vignettes with alums, but I do not know if I am getting it confused with something else. I believe that it used to be available for viewing on the admissions site, but I could not find it to link it here, so they may have taken it down.

Oh, I do remember getting that DVD–not with my acceptance, though.

nevermind, i seem to have found it: [Swarthmore Unscripted](http://www.swarthmore.edu/admissions/unscripted/students.html)

Good job! I could not find it…

I’m pretty disappointed because I visited over the summer and thought I had a really good shot. Especially since they mailed me the Swarthmore Unscripted DVD in like December…
Oh well.

Wow, that sucks pc. Where else have you been accepted? Your stats are AMAZING!

I was accepted to University of Chicago, NYU, Boston College, and University of Texas Business Honors. I was waitlisted at Amherst :(.
Congrats to all you future Swatties and good luck!! You guys will adore it. It hurts a little (a lot) but I am confident that the admissions office knew what they were doing when they made decisions.
