at our school , all standardized tests that we take (ACT and SAT) are always included on the transcript... even if we don't want colleges to see one vs. the other.

i know that colleges require official score reports... do they only take into account the official score reports? Or will a bad ACT score on my transcript that i don't officially submit from the agency still be counted in their admission decision

I also would like to know this.

Do you HAVE to send in your ACT scores if it is worse compared to your SAT scores? Can you just keep your ACT score a secret if those scores are horrible?

You can just ask your counselor to withhold from your transcript the scores you don't want the colleges to see at all.

I think that schools have to have your permission in order to put the test scores on transcript at all. I would just ask them to withhold the scores from your transcript and you should just send in all your scores from the actual testing agencies.

They usually take your best section scores - even if they're in different sittings - anyway. The same policy would apply to having both ACT and SAT scores.
