does anyone know when RPI/AMC results will come out?
@efr009 - I think you confused the âapplicationâ with the ârequest for application formâ.
He requested the âpermission to applyâ at the beginning of October and was rejected immediately. He did not even start applying for HPME or any university.
Of course, after you actually applied, they will definitely look for more than just numbers.
The following is the exact wording from HPME response:
"The HPME request form is just a preliminary screening. We do not look at research, volunteer work or extracurricular activities at this time, only the information on the request form is considered. "
And as I mentioned before, the request form contains only school, test scores, and courses/grades. Many people on CC applied to NU HPME. They should be able to confirm this.

RPI/AMC decission commitee reviews the previois weekâs applicants every wednesday. I assume the final accepted list will go out on Thursday or Friday (4/1 or 4/2).
Daughter still awaiting word from Hofstra as well. Hopefully she will hear this week.
What about TCNJ/NJMS notifications?

Accepted into Hofstra BSMD program literally thirty minutes after rejected from Harvard. I know that these programs are incredibly difficult to get into, but all the same, itâs hard to let go of the Ivy prestige.

Thatâs ridiculous that your son wasnât even granted an application for HPME. I wonder if some mistake might have been made because I donât think his unweighted GPA was low enough to immediately disqualify him. Regardless, Iâm sure that with his stats, he has many great options to choose from!

Phone call about a week ago and then mail today. I could be wrong, but I think that they already contacted all accepted applicants.

At my interview, they said that we would hear back through the undergraduate college.

My son just had his interview March 28th, they were still interviewing? They told him April 3rd
@Karen27â I was told april 3rd as well when i had my interview back in february. I guess theyâll roll the news out starting tomorrow. Maybe it depends on the undergraduate school
I just found this on TCNJ page:The admission process is not finalized until the first week in April. Dr. Shevlin, the Seven-Year Program Director at TCNJ, will notify the accepted students once the list has been received from NJMS.
