***Official Thread for 2015 BSMD applicants***

@upstream what are your stats?

@upstream
Would you happen to know Union-AMC and Rosemont-Drexelā€™s stats?

@faymer, for Union/AMC (2012-13 cycle):

740 cr/ 724 m/ 748 w

In State: 156/ 37/6
OOS: 207/27/9

Anyone have any stats I can compare up to for Uconnā€™s BS/MD?

@rupa1967, sent you a message

@Krish400158, for UConn program:

In state: 131/20/6
OOS: 262/17/3

Did anyone else get invited to submit the Villanova Drexel BS/MD Supplemental?!

@danceprinces124; my son did not apply to this program. However, today he got the supplement email for the Drexel college of Medicine from Rosemont College.

how competitive is sluā€™s program? got accepted today w/ generous scholarship but doubt my chances of getting in the program :neutral_face: if anyone w/ knowledge on these programs could chance me on sluā€™s or any other of these programs in pm that would be much appreciated as well.

-fame (utsa)
-drexel

good luck to all of you in these next couple of months!

@upstreamā€Œ im sorry, but what does that mean?

I am not sure how competitive SLU is but I believe it is quite expensive on the long run (not any different from Drexel).

They will expect you to borrow lots to fund the medical school part of the education if your parents are not willing to foot the bill.

Anyone hear anything from Miami HPME yet?

@Krish400158, no need to apologizeā€¦ total no. of applicants/ no of interviews granted/ enrolled students.

just remember that accepted numer is generally higher than the enrolled number since the yield is not 100 percent.

Does anybody know what to expect on the SBU GW interview?

@upstream are you a rising senior?

Did not receive a Baylor Medical Track Interview, but about an hour after I found out I received one for Miami HPME :)

@HolmesOG what state are you from?

what interview notifications are out?

Rejected from Miami HPME. Guess you need more than 2300+ SAT, near perfect SAT 2s, published research, varsity athlete, excellent letters of rec? Freaking out now about the state of my other applicationsā€¦

@Deriveme Iā€™m so sorry you were rejected. I am in-state and I wanted to apply to Miamiā€™s HPME program but I decided not to. I talked to one of the representatives at the school and they told me they had extremely strict requirements for the program, including a 34 ACT minimum. I hate how some of these programs do not realize that test scores arenā€™t everything.
