@medicineinspired - When my child went for the PSU/Jeff interview a few years ago, there were a lot of people at the meet and greet but certainly not all. It’s not an advantage as far as acceptance goes (my opinion, I have no inside information) but it’s a great chance to meet other students and ask a lot of questions in an informal setting. It seems like people on this forum don’t focus on finding a program that’s a good fit but I’d suggest that’s the most important thing. There were two interviews, a student and a faculty member, each about 30 minutes. Be yourself. It seems like the people who were accepted had good school / life balance. I believe about half of the interviews got acceptances and about half of those enrolled. As for dress, I believe formal is the way to go (business suit or as close as you can come to that at this point).
so i know someone who is really interested in the GW 7 yr program. She really is looking for advice. Ik there was an interview today for the program. Can anyone who went share their experiences about the interview and wat they thought? was it a good experience/interview/visit? Thanks!

Has anyone heard back from PSU regarding admission into their accelerated program? I got accepted into undergrad for PSU but I don’t know when and how the acceptance into the accelerated program will show up. Please help.
Also, has anyone received an interview from Rochester Early Medical Scholars Program? I didn’t ask for an interview for the undergrad admissions and now I still have not received an invite and I’m wondering if the reason is because I didn’t ask for an interview. Please let me know if you have heard back from REMS regarding their interviews.
My son also received an invite for Union/AMC interview. He submitted his supplement on Dec 16th, but received interview on Feb 7th.
GW offered ~25 interview invitations out of >800 applicants, expecting ~10 acceptances.
Thank you @Dildil and @bsmdcan. It’s just that I submitted my supplement in December and still have not received any information from AMC as to whether I got invited for an interview or not. How did your son get invited to an interview? Through email, phone call, or mail?

Just got an interview for RPI/AMC!!! Random question, has anyone else had trouble with the photo upload on the AMC application system? It requires me to crop my photo but it won’t let me!

Congrats on the interview for RPI! When did you get the AMC supplement to fill out?
@danceprincess124 I think you should use Firefox browser for the photo (they specifically asked for that if I remember it right).
@greysfan, REMS interview invitation has been sent. If you have not heard from them, you didn’t make the cut. There were 1,147 applicants and only 47 were invited for the interviews (Feb. 26-28).
And whether or not one asked for the undergrad admission interview has nothing to do with REMS admission. In fact, most kids in the REMS program currently did not have that interview.
