@Amtari I did as well!

@amtari @svnya123 I did as well:)))

@SmartAlec I am tomorrow! GL!

Drexel has interviews on Saturday?

@SmartAlec I’ll be there too!! Excited and Nervous

@SmartAlec I’ll be there!

Best wishes and good luck to all of you, who are attending interviews tomorrow with Drexel medical (for Villanova and Lehigh).

How was the Drexel Interviews for those who went today

@GoldenRock You are wrong. That’s not exactly how it works. Also, lehigh doesn’t only have 1 seat. Students choose where to go and Drexel undergrad is cheaper. Granted some people don’t get into some of the schools. More people apply to Drexel undergrad itself hence the larger class size. Less people apply to villanova lehigh (Though acceptance rates are still around below 5%). Several people got into Lehigh but chose villanova or drexel.

I agree wth @MrInformed . Drexel UG until last year gave full ride to NMF so that was the obvious choice for many who were NMF. In terms of UG schools Lehigh and Villanova are ranked better. Villanova is more expensive than Lehigh. Drexel is more expensive than Lehigh but I guess offer some scholarship so ends up cheaper.

It will be interesting to see how the numbers turn out in each UG since Drexel has stopped the NMF scholarship.

I will post the interview details in a separate post in a bit.

people who interviewed at BU already: does the day actually end at 5 or does it end earlier?

@sonpat earlier

kinda random…but did drexel have an interview on January 22nd??

@luv2bake From my understanding, the first of the Drexel interviews was yesterday (Feb. 6)

@svnya123 how was the interview? What is the format? How many candidates were there yesterday?

@dudefromnowhere The interviews were pretty laid back (or at least mine was). They’re one on one. Typical questions with some get-to-know-you type questions thrown in. And they’re 30 min long. Yesterday there were about 40 kids total.

@ymehkri Was there any formal presentations either to students or parents? Was there any information to know how many are for Lehigh vs Villanova v Drexel among the 40 attended y’day? Did they disclose how many are going to be interviewed (will get offers and will matriculate etc) since they have a many days for interview almost all the way till Feb end? Who does the interview, medical college admission folk or faculty or current students?

anyone got any stats for the average matriculation rate to Temple Med?

What do you guys think of California North State’s 3+4 BS/MD Program?

My son has his NJMS and VCU interviews in the next few days. Any insight and what to expect would be helpful.
