Does an invite from Drexel to apply to their Honors college mean you are out of the consideration for the bs/md program? I just got an email inviting me to apply for their Honors college!
@ crescent I just got the letter yesterday stating that I have been admitted to UPitt undergrad. The lady at the office said the GAP invite comes in a separate mail in 10-14 days. How much after did you receive the GAP invite after being admitted?
@goaltobemd my son got an email inviting him to apply to GAP one week after he got the acceptance letter.
@goaltobemd I got an email too regarding applying to Drexel âPennoni Honors Programâ. Donât know what does it mean ⊠Are we still in running?
@goaltobemd Pitt GAP email came a couple of days after the email informing about getting admitted.
Also, D got the Drexel honors invite one day after submitting the Drexel Common App, I donât think they would have evaluated the application for the combined program

@dudefromnowhere thank you. . I got the undergrad video then a letter in regular mail saying that I am eligible for Honors college. I was expecting GAP invite by snail mail. Did you get an email for Pitt GAP also? And hopefully we are still in the running for Drexel. Helps to know we are all in the same boat. @svnya123 too:)
@goaltobemd Just out of curiosity, when did you apply to Pitt? I applied Nov. 1 and havenât received anything from them, even for UG.
@svnya123 I applied on 10/31 but submitted the short essays only on 11/15. Got the admit email 12/4. Admit letter 12/7. Fingers crossed for GAP invite. You should hear from them anytime if you applies Nov 1.
@dudefromnowhere, I just realized you said your D got honors college invite after 1 day of common app? Wow! That is some turnaround. Did she apply to the Honors college?
@ tunetheday, I am still undecided on that. Did you find out of this is an additional screen in step this year before interviews? According to last yearsâs thread people got interview invites this time of the year. It is getting tougher I guess!
@goaltobemd she did apply, they gave 5-7 days to apply but no news after that

We sent Drex Common App in Sept, submitted BS/MD supplement in Oct (early notification), and honors app in Oct as well. It has been over a month.Portal says under review. Please share if you have any update.
Is anyone applying to the BS/MD program at Siena College?
@goaltobemd I donât see this video replacing the interview. I guess everything is more competitive.
I havenât heard from Villanova about the supplement.
@goaltobemd Yes, the video response is a new step added this year for an additional screening. Interview invites come out in mid Jan as per their Dec 4th email.

If a student is not accepted into the BS/MD program can they still be accepted into Drexel?
My application from RPI is forwarded to Albany. Has anyone heard from Albany after it is forwarded?
@HS2DirectMed congratulations! That is awesome! How were you notified? I heard you get the supplemental directly from Albany. I think you are the first for Albany in this batch on CC to receive it. When did you submit your application?
@saules yes. From previous yearsâ posts I gather you can get admitted to their undergrad school if not admitted to their 7 yr med program
