<p>I got a post it note as well that congratulated me for being named captain of the tennis team (was in my essay)…I was accepted with 490 reading, 590 math, 530 writing and 4.03 weighted gpa…my SAT scores went up since cause of a deferral from another school (UCF, which is my top choice)</p>

<p>At the My Hofstra page, accessed from hofstra.edu Your D would need her login ID and password.</p>
<p>S was notified of his acceptance by letter which he received on January 19. He applied ED II. His account at myhofstra still says a decision has been made and a letter will be arriving shortly. I am not sure all of the myhofstra accounts are updated yet.</p>

<p>Yes, don’t assume anything at this point. Stay positive. I am sure the admissions office is very busy and there is no rhyme or reason to when things get mailed or posted etc. The good thing about ED is there is always the RD chance. Here’s hoping you hear good news.</p>
<p>I called Admissions today since S hasn’t gotten letter but acceptance had been posted online a few weeks ago. Letter was apparantly sent at end of December, but never received by us, despite they have the correct address! They are looking into it. Lesson learned: for those of you waiting and thinking you should have heard by now, you may want to make a call into Admissions to check on status.</p>

<p>I got accepted. Looked at my.hofstra.edu on the 15th and got a packet a couple days later.</p>

<p>Accepted. My online account was finally updated to admitted on Friday 2/19. My green envelope was dated 2/8 and it finally arrived yesterday 2/22. I have heard Hofstra mail can take awhile to arrive.</p>
